Beats Mixr Wired On-Ear Headphone - Neon Green (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

BUYER BEWARE: I purchased these at the end of June 2018 as a backup for my original beats by Guetta, which were purchased at Best Buy 4 years ago, used 4 times per week and are still in almost perfect condition. Thinking I was going to get a good deal, I got a LEMON! I decided to start using them and put my old ones on the side as a backup instead and to my surprise, not even 2 weeks in, the rubber underneath the head support started to come loose and had noticeable trace of glue. I managed to put it back in place and continued using this, but the same thing continued to occur every 2 or 3 weeks. 3 and 1/2 months of purchase, the top of the head support cracks and is now useless. See pictures attached. If there was an option for negative 10 stars, this would have received it. Hope this informs future consumers.

My go-to headphones when I’m djing. Very heavy bass, blocks out all sound, and provides decent high and mids.I’m, as a DJ, very satisfied with these headphones. But for your average day to day user, I would recommend looking elsewhere.They clamp your head really tightly, and it starts hurting a bit after using them for 30 or 40 minutes at a time, but they’re very sturdy and well built as a result of being stiff. There’s nothing wrong with that, as long as you’re not using the headphones for long durations at a time.As a final note, be very careful who you buy the headphones from. As a good guide for finding authentic ones, they’ll be priced around $140-160 as they are discontinued, but they can still be purchased from trusted sellers. Anything below that price point is most likely a chinese impersonation of the item.TLDR: Very solid headphones for dj’ing, not for long use. This is my second pair of Mixr Beats for my teenage son. His first pair lasted about 2 years with daily use. I was more than happy to purchase him a second pair, considering he got such good use out of the first pair. This second pair arrived on Aug 7th, and I just sent them back on Aug 30th. The ear piece (cushion) broke off and the wiring was coming apart on the cords. Really? I know these things cost only about $13 to make, but for such a massive markup, they shouldn't be falling apart so quickly. Clearly a defective pair, although I have my doubts all around about the continued quality of the brand overall.

Hands down the best set of headphones I’ve ever owned. I’ve always felt like beats was overrated and have strayed away from the original quality product Monster first designed but these are great and you absolutely will never beat the price. I’ve owned Bose and other high-end, expensive headphones but this is the king. The bass is so deep and the sound will go as loud as you can push it. I like my music LOUD and I’ve never had a set of headphones that measured up until these. I like EDM and you probably do too if you’re looking at these so take my word for it, just buy them. You won’t be disappointed.

I bought these for my husband, (who does not like earbuds) and he loves them. He is difficult to buy electronics for, but he uses these often and even takes them on business trips (thanks to the convenient portable case). The sound quality is good, and for the Beats brand, it is a good price.My husband did say that when wearing them for a while they start to feel tight, but I told him about the tip from another reviewer (to put them over the arm of a large sofa) and he said it definitely helped.

I really like these and think overall they are made very durable. Bend is a bit tight at first but it stretches out. Sound quality it great on any music optimized for bass if it like a pop song or something not amazing but still decent quality, if you play around with the equalizer you can make any song sound good. This is my first pair of beats and I am definitely pleased with them. There is also slight sound leakage by I near turn mine up enough for that. Also price isn't very good totally would not pay for price on beats website but on Amazon you can find some pretty decent deals I got mine for 110 and I think that that's reasonable. Anything over 150 or even 120 I don't think it's worth it.Update as of 7/31/2016. I've had these for a little over a year. The other day I went to put them over my head to wear them. And the band just cracked. I think that for the price if they are only going to last a year then thats horrible. I changed to 3 stars instead of 4.

Everything came just as I thought it would but when I go to plug in my phone into the headphones, only one side worked at a time! They both work separately but not at the same time. Now I'm going to have to spend MORE money trying to get these things repaired.

I bought a couple of cheaper headphones before I decided to take the plunge and buy the Beats. I am not disappointed. The cheaper ones were just that, cheap! These produce great sound and stay on my ears. They do feel a little tight when I wear them for over an hour but it isn't exactly painful. I think they will stretch out some with time. If you're going to buy Beats, I would buy this pair.

Yes I have to admit! These change my listening experience especially of music. Their clarity with an essence of base is the best I have heard. I bought these as in the last year I have spent nearly £200 on medium priced supposedly good headsets. The longest on Logitech set lasted was 4 months ... I work a lot on line so have to have something reliable. These aren't the most comfortable but they do eliminate peripheral sound and are padded. They actually work better with my Mac Air than with my PC and the microphone on the i lead is good and easy to adjust.

Great sound - clear with strong base and VERY LOUD (the loudest of all headphones I tried - other Beats, Sennheiser, B&O, B&W, etc) so good for noisy environment. Good noice isolation (no battery needed as it doesn't use noice cancellation technology).Light but really well-built. Not plasticy.Best grip on head so ideal for jogging/exercising as they don't move / wobble due to good grip and lightnes. After a while they can get a bit tiring to keep on, but fine as you can just take them off for a bit.Overall best Beats and best over ear headphones for exercise.

The leather on the ears does not last and cracks, but overall a good quality product and nice looking. Sound quality is good but too much base for me, I know they are called BEATS, but would prefer to be able to adjust it.

Okay so my first pair were fantastic, lasted me, with daily use, about 9 months. Then the cable started playing up (poor quality sound coming through, loose connection) and Amazon kindly replaced the item. However, the cable on the replaced pair was also faulty (with no use this time), so Amazon replaced them and the third pair were great until about 1 week in when the control on the cable stopped working, so I could not turn music on/off, volume up/down, or use the next track feature. So these have now been returned for the third and final time and I shall be switching brands. I have to say that when they do work the volume is great if you enjoy loud music

Excellent build and sound quality, with very good noise isolation too. Even at high volume the headphones sound brilliant with very deep bass. Also love the beats case, supplied to protect the headphones. Bought this pair for my son, but will definitely buying another pair for myself.
