Finally!! A helmet that fits as expected.
Finally!! A helmet that fits. I have had trouble finding a helmet that will fit my gigantic head (25" circumference) and this one does so perfectly and without making me look Rick Moranis playing Dark Helmet in the 1987 movie Spaceballs, like other big head helmets do. If you have a head that measures 25" around, measured just above your eyebrows and around, this helmet will work for you and actually has just slightly a little extra room if you want it loosely seated upon your dome.

Review Update: The Helmet does not last.
Current info:I've had this helmet for about 4 months. The inner support frame has separated from the outer shell. The Helmet did not get a lot of use so it is surprising how easily it broke. I had to reduce the stars from 5 to 2.Previous review:I have a big freakin' head. this fits perfectly. The micro adjustment on the back is perfect. The air flow is adequate and the helmet feels light enough to wear all day. The straps are very comfortable and adjustable. You cannot go wrong with this helmet.*I have not crashed and hit my head so I cannot attest to how well it will handle a bad fall. Clearly, this is the main reason for a helmet and I hope to never be able to review this part.

Looks good, customizable fit
I bought this helmet for town riding and light paved and unpacked trails. All buckles and straps appear to be well made. The decals and contours make for a sleek look, and the adjustable dial in back allows for a custom fit. I was unsure on exact helmet size and ordered this one, so a customizable adjustment made that perfect for me. Also at the cycle shop I had a medium that was really snug and the dial adjustment helped make it workable to test out bikesthere, but I feel like this size was a better fit for me (L) and all around I’m very pleased with the purchase.

Don’t buy this if you have a round head!
I bought this after seeing the positive reviews of it being larger than other helmets out there. But unfortunately it didn’t fit my round melon!!Also the build looks quite cheap. Glue marks everywhere.

Great helmet at a reasonable price
I've used Giro road bike helmets for years and have been very happy with them. My go to offload helmet had been a Specialized Ambush. Had been until a small screw was lost and the visor had to be fixed down which made it impossible to use on trails. Found this helmet and have been very happy. It's cooler than the Ambush and fits as well. It does not have the back of the head protection of the Ambush but it seems more than adequate for the job. Not that my head has a price but the Ambush is significantly more expense. Two thumbs up!

Still American made!
Having survived the 1980s it's probably a little late to worry about protecting my noggin. But nonetheless this helmet packs great features at an affordable price. You can go cheaper or all in on the high end helmet. But this helmet seems to be the perfect middle the road situation. FYI: Its still American made!

Every day to work and back helmet
If you are not riding off road and have short commutes it might be worth getting this helmet. I would suggest if you are going to be a little bit more aggressive I would spend the extra money and get something with the mips system. I gave it away to a friend that needed a helmet after i bought something else. If you need a helmet than this will work but there are better options out there now.

TOP Belüftung, bequem, universell
Toller Helm, sehr gute Belüftung - ich würde ihn immer wieder kaufen und er hat mir sowohl im Wald über Stock und Stein als auch bei einer 1200km Tour nach Budapest bislang gute Dienste geleistet, auch wenn ich glücklicherweise die Stoßfestigkeit noch nicht testen musste...Die Größe L passt auch bequem auf meinen etwas großen Kopf - im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Helmen, die ich probiert hatte.Durch die Möglichkeit, die Größe schnell einzustellen kann man im Winter auch mal eine Mütze drunterziehen ohne viel fummeln zu müssen.Einziges Manko: einer der Schieber zur Größeneinstellung lockert sich immer wieder - das muss ich mal zu Amazon einschicken.Viel Spaß beim Radeln!
