Was a little skeptical if it worked well but was not disappointed, it works super easy and use it a few times a week.

Whoever designed this thing had to grate a bunch of stuff in their life time to know exactly what they wanted to have in a perfect grater. Little rubber feet make sure it doesn't slide and stays on the surface steadily, so your hand doesn't slip and you don't cut yourself. And the way the bottom is curved is perfect for placing your grater horizontally, so you can grate your cheese or whatever whichever direction you prefer. The grater stays on the bowl and doesn't move thanks to those curves. Genius yet so simple. I did expect the matchsticks to come out larger, but the holes are pretty small. I guess it makes sense tho, because if you wanted larger matchsticks you could just hand cut them. Such fine matchsticks are pretty hard to accomplish with a knife, hence this grater. It's sharp and the construction is ergonomic and sturdy. If it doesn't go dull after a couple of uses, I can see this tool living in my kitchen for generations.

It is probably a great tool, but not quite safe to use. First thing that happened - I cut my finger. Returned.

I LOVE this grater/ fine julian. I used it to make a fine julian of carrots, cucumbers, zucchini, squash, potatoes, apples or any firm vegetables. I used it to make stir fries, salads or a quick snack. This is now my favorite grater, takes up little room in drawer, a quick wash and its clean. I like how it adds a bit of decorative touch to my salads. What can I say more than I love it so much, I got one for my daughter too.

Tried a few julienne grater for carrots. This by far cuts the best-looking carrot sticks. They are long, thin, and had a square-shaped cross-section. I'm impressed.

Mit dieser Julienne Reibe zu arbeiten, erfordert viel Kraft. Die Schneiden sind, meiner Meinung nach nichtgeschärft sondern nur aus dem Edelstahlblech heraus gestanzt. Möglicherweise ist das so gewollt um die Verletzungsgefahr zu verringern.Ich habe Karotten Julienne damit gemacht und dabei festgestellt dass auch die Auffangvorrichtung nichtso funktioniert, wie erwartet. Die Karotten-Julienne fallen nicht locker in die darunter befindliche Schüssel sondern bleiben in der Auffangschale kleben. Diese Julienne Reibe ist recht teuer und hat meine Erwartungen leider nicht erfüllt. Deshalb nur drei Sterne.

Ich habe mehrere Julienne Schneider/Raspeln getestet und bin von dieser Reibe überzeugt. Sie ist schön klein, super für Karotten, Gurke, Rote Beete geeignet und leicht zu reinigen. Der Klingenschutz ist super!

Viel Besser als die Reiben aus Holz oder Plastik. Lässt sich super reinigen und tut was es soll: feine Gemüsestreifchen schneiden!
