Love this ironing pad! Hate ironing boards and this pad is much better than using towels on the counter! Easy to store.

I bought this ironing blanket as a replacement for an ironing board in a small space. I use it on top of a mid-height dresser next to my sewing machine, and I absolutely love it. It's so easy to just fold it up and store it when I'm done and takes no space at all. It allows me to have a perfectly flat, protected surface wherever I need it. No hauling out the ironing board, then going back and forth between the board and the sewing machine. The surface under the machine does get very warm, but I haven't noticed any damage.It's quite a large surface, and the rectangle shape gives you more surface area than the usual pointed ironing board shape. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who doesn't have the room or desire for an ironing board.

Worked well for ironing but it gets way too hot underneath. I put their on top of my cutting mat and ironed for under 10 minutes. When I moved it to continue cutting my mat was warped and very hot! I had to put a wooden cutting block down down to protect my surfaces. Very annoying.

This ironing blanket is just fine, but I didn't realize that if you used steam it would go right through it. I ended up warping my cutting mat. This is my fault. I bought this so I could iron in my sewing room and since I really can't place it on wood or anything, it a little useless for me. I guess you could use it on your dryer, but I don't need to do that. Just read the description and make sure this is what you want.

I'm really glad I bought this. I use it for ironing my sewing and arts and crafts items. However, the plaid side did melt on to my table so the finish is ruined. I recommend placing a towel underneath and you'll be all set. It arrives with creases but they disappear when you use it.

I purchased this a long while back and was using it on well-finished countertops (or solid surfaces like marble, etc.) so I never noticed any problems BUT now that I have moved, I am currently using it on my wooden desk and noticed that the surface of my wooden desk is very hot when ironing! It's worse if you have steam on because the moisture will also pass through onto your working surface. I only have my temp set at medium on my iron and after only a couple passes, my desk surface was hot. I had to put down a folded towel between this ironing blanket and my desk to safely iron but even then my desk surface felt a little warm still.If you have an ironing board already and are using this blanket on that (for whatever reason) OR you are using this on a solid surface that is not affected by heat, you will be fine. I purchased this in hopes of not having to purchase an additional separate ironing board but I've now realized there is no substitute for a good ironing board.

I have a hanging ironing board which l love, but there was no padding on it. I used this pad to solve that issue.

I love this. I have a very small space in which to sew and keeping an ironing board set up was just not possible. Putting one up and taking it down every 10 minutes was a nightmare! I fastened this to a board and it just slips down the side of my table to store and takes seconds to lift up onto the table to use.

Workable for a quick iron on no steam setting. Any water will saturate and leak through on to counter/tabletop.

Works well. Arrived promptly, and as described.

Works perfectly for big (and smal) projects!
