Extremely high quality
It is very apparent that these are worth every penny without even installing it. Its CNC welded, and all polished high gauge stainless and filled with some sort of epoxy to prevent wire failure. I'd definitely say this is worthy of installation in even an industrial environment.

Defective it did not even last two months
Very disappointed they’re not making things like they used to. It’s operation was all within the limits, but it didn’t even last 2 months.

Failed almost instantly
I am extremely disappointed in this product's performance - it failed almost instantly! I installed this as a switch for a contactor in a latching configuration (e.g., the contactor uses two switches - one high and one low - where the lower switch dictates when the contactor can turn on, and the upper switch dictates when the contactor should shut off. However, the system worked correctly only two times before the lower switch failed, resulting in the lower switch continuing to provide a signal and keeping the latch in place. As these switches control the inflow to a tank of finite size, I was very thankful that I happened to be in the area near when the failure occurred. I only ended up with about 5-10 gallons of overflow before I shut down the system.PS - For anyone looking at the second photo, the system does not use the same switches: The lower one is the Madison unit that failed, and the upper is a cheap "uxcell" unit (B00QC23Z7A) that I originally bought only as a comparison to gauge quality difference. While the Madison unit certainly looks and feels of superior quality, its performance was not at the same level!Edit - April 13, 2021:I decided to purchase another of these units to replace the first one, and, so far, it works as intended. Hopefully I had a rare dud the first time around, though I'm not happy at all about paying $50+ for a useless item, though I can let bygones be bygones if they don't burn me twice. Increased my rating from one star to two.
