The Exciting Spin
I wasn't sure about getting this toy at first. It seemed like an accident waiting to happen in some ways. The excitement on my nephew's face was awesome though. It was the latest and greatest in the Beyblade thing according to him. He had a blast with it and it is still holding strong and doing great. That is exactly what kids want from a toy so it was a great thing.

Cool Beyblade
Son was very excited to get this Beyblade. It's cool that he can control the change mode with the remote.

Very cool
This Beyblade works really well, it takes a little time to experiment with it to figure out all the moves, but that is half the fun right?! My son loves it!

It didn't last ONE day!
Bought this Beyblade for Christmas. My 7 year-old son was really excited to get it, and out of control when opened the package and found it.His happy face lasted less than 24 hours when the top did not respond to his commands any longer. We replaced top batteries but it didn't work either. Now, checking other reviews on line, get to find out this is a common problem with it.And at the end we just got a disappointed kid.A total waste!

Really fun but broke after 2 days of play
My son really loved this while it worked. Then the beyblade (the spinning part) stopped responding after 2 days. I changed the batteries, TWICE (just to be sure), and it still didn't respond. I looked at some other on-line reviews, both here and on Toys R Us.com, and it seems to be a pervasive problem (the remote control part is still making noise, so I think it's okay).

fun for a few days
My son could not wait to get this beyblade. When we received it, my son (6 yrs. old) played with it for a week (maybe). The noises the remote made were loud and could not be muted or turned off. It was cool to keep the beyblade spinning with the remote- even move it left to right and vice versa, but if you pressed the remote button(s) one too many times it would spin on its end and not recover. If you careful, you could get he beyblade to spin for a long time. My son doesn't want to use his 'regular' beyblades with the electronic one, so one is not enough or just a big waste. But he doesn't even pick it up once in a while; he'd rather rally with his variety of beyblades or his bey wheelz. More importantly, he not only likes to rally with them, he likes to take all of them apart and exchange the parts to create new beyblades or wheelz; he can't take apart the electronic one so you're stuck with whatever you get AND that's no fun. This kind of beyblade is too expensive to buy and the just sit and collect dust. I will not purchase another one.I'm guessing on it's durability b/c we really haven't used enough to know. It was dropped once and still worked. It's certainly not educational. As far as fun... it's OK. Just glad I didn't pay full retail price.Good luck!

Awesome beyblade
It is totally awesome, I love it. It has an extra spin button that is so fun. It is like the beyblade of awesomeness because it has be at all of my other beyblades. It wasn't very hard to figure out how to work it (I am almost eight).

Great, if it worked!
Let me start by saying the idea of controlling your beyblade is a great idea, but it stopped working after one battle. I'm assuming it was the cheap motor they used within the top, because my controller can still work with other tops. It definitely was not the batteries because that was my first thought. That being said, I did purchase this top with two other types, and we are still enjoying those. I read other reviews and l-drago seems to have the most problems.
