Philips Norelco Bodygroom Series 3100, Shave and trim with back attachment, BG2034

I was a little bit apprehensive when I first started using this shaver, (Down There), in the Manly Twig and Berries region. Because, in the past, I've used shavers that claimed to be friendly and weren't; taking more skin than pubic hair. So, gun shy was I, to say the least. . . At first, that is! After a few gentle swipes with this Body Groomer, I actually tried to tangle my goodie sack in the rounded edge cutting blades, pushing harder and moving it faster and faster. Never once did it ever even nick the tender skin on my scrotum. The only thing this body groomer did, was completely remove each and every single curly hair that it came into contact with. Doing a fantastic job too. Mind, that it was not as smooth as a razor blade cut, but afterward, when running your hand across where hair used to be? My hand couldn't feel any stubble or prickly nubs. It was 4 days ago when I used my new body groomer, and tonight I will need a touch up.It was fast, only needing 1 or 2 passes for almost perfectly smooth skin. It was fairly quiet too, surprising me, as my other groomers and electric razors are much more noisy. And, the cost was great. Now, I'm a Prime member, so I'm not sure what others are paying for these? But, I think mine was under $25.00, which included the free 2 day shipping. I went ahead and purchased the extended warranty, (and why not), for only a buck or two!And, if you look at the reviews for the warranty company, they're almost all 100%, with literally hundreds of them sold. So, it's not a flunky warranty.I'm not one for leaving too many reviews, but when I find a product that works, stands out from the rest and actually does what it claims. I've got to give this Philips Body Groomer 5 Big Stars, 2-Thumbs Up and a Job Well Done!You won't be disappointed if you're looking for a grooming aid that'll cut your pubic hair and only your pubic hair. Well, along with your arm pits, chest, legs, butt, back, stomach, hands, knuckles and arms too. Pretty much anything below your neck area.So, all you Apes out there, Yeah You!Get this and make your girlfriend or Wife a very happy lady. I'm not a hairy guy by any means, and my purpose for getting this shaver was to remove the hair from my underarms and groin area. I've tried all sorts of shavers in the past. If you opened my drawer, you'd think I'm a part-time barber with all the different kinds of "hair removal apparatus" I have.I wished I had known about this shaver sooner. This shaver is exactly what I've been looking for to tackle my underarms and groin area. For me, it works wonderfully. The underarms area is pretty straightforward so I won't go into any details. For the groin area, this shaver works like a charm once you get the hang of it. It works mainly by the two "external" rows of cutters, so you need to position the shaver in such a way that those cutters are close to your skin. Otherwise, it wouldn't work.I kept my skin taut as far as I can. Guys, you know how the skin is like down there. I did get nicked once, but no blood at all. It was fast and efficient, much faster than the previous best shaver I had for the same job. With all the other shavers I've tried in the past, nicks and blood were a given.

I got my original Bodygroom back in 2007, and had re-purchased one back in 2011 after the battery failed. I finally bit the bullet and got this newest model, and I'm glad I did. They made some subtle enhancements that really add some shine and polish to an already solid product. The 3100 is lighter, has a grippier material, and offers a much cleaner and aesthetically pleasing design. I really like the battery indicator LED, as well as the sleek charging stand that it comes with.I don't use any of the attachments for trimming, because I prefer a much closer and shorter hair length, and it works quite nicely. Great product for your grooming needs, just be careful when the battery runs low - hairs tend to snag.Another note, I tend to use the small brush they included to clean out the shaving head, instead of simply rinsing it out. It seems much better to only use for dry shaving and I've had bad experiences washing out the cutting blades on my older models.

He de admitir que tenia mis dudas sobre comprar una rasuradora de este tipo y más aún siendo de Philips ya que mi experiencia con un recortador de barba no había sido buena. Ha sido una muy agradable sorpresa, el diseño es muy bueno, inclusive los peines recortadores, aunque se tienen que cambiar de posición si cambias el sentido de corte, no es algo complicado y entrega muy buenos resultados. El nivel dw rasurado también es excelente y el vello en brazos en mi caso tardo en crecer casi 4 días, aunque esto es muy variable se me hace un excelente resultado. Y si la pregunta es sobre rasurar la zona de la entrepierna, sin problema, la navaja es muy gentil y logras un muy buen resultado sin muchos pases y sin irritar la piel. Además el precio es excelente, llego antes del tiempo estimado, muy buena compra.

Was looking for something specifically for pubic hair and this met all expectations. No hair pulls as long as you move the trimmer slowly and don't take the trimmer off your body (I mean don't lose contact between trimmer and your body). Gives you a very clean shave. Just for curiosity, I tried to trim my beard with it once and I can't complain about it either. The trimmer head can really dig deep to give you a clean shave. Easy to clean. Holds charge for about 3 trims for me, which is sufficient. The adjustable heights don't really matter unless you like to have some length of hair on certain body parts. Overall, good value for price

I've been using it for my entire body below the neck and it has performed perfectly. I have no other products to compare with. It has been 3 years and I still love it.
