Headache Migraine Ice Head Wrap- Migraine Relief Hat for Pressure, Tension Relief, Wearable Gel Cold Cap with 5 Ice Packs (Grey)

It looks silly when wearing it, but when your in so much pain from a migraine you really dont care. It works! It hits all the migraine causing pressure points except the forehead which is a bummer. If that spot is usually the culprit i wear the cap backwards and it works just fine you just have the velcro in the front no big deal. The icepacks are easy to freeze and put in the hat and take out. They dont take up much space in the freezer. And the hat comes with a little bag to store in a drawer when your not using. I actually lost my first hat but had the icepacks and i was suffering so much i bought a second because i couldnt stand it anymore. Then the 1st one showed up so now i have 2 and im ok with it. I can switch between them back and forth once one set of icepacks melt. Which usually take 2-3 hours. When the icepacks are in the hat feels funny i will warn you. It feel like its not sitted properly but it slowly moves into place as they melt and contour to your head. Each icepack goes in a little nylon pouch to hold. Easy to place. I obviously bought again 😂

I have had this helmet for over a year. This helmet has been one of the best and most helpful purchases I’ve ever made. Nothing works on my headaches but cold. I always wished that I could have ice surrounding my entire head when I have one. This does the trick. The individual pieces are hard as a rock when they come out of the freezer, so they don’t lay flat against the head for a while, but that’s to be expected of anything frozen! The cap is a little long in the front and the ice pack doesn’t go all the way to the edge on that side but I just fold the front up. It stays on my head while I lay down. The only drawback for me is that it’s the only relief I get and after wearing it for a few hours, the ice packs, of course, thaw out and need to be refrozen. In the mean time, my headache rears it’s ugly head. But this helmet is so helpful for me that I’m buying another so I can always have ice packs available for use. Totally worth it. The only other thing I would recommend is *not* being lazy and throwing the whole cap in the freezer with the ice packs... the cap will end up smelling bad (like the freezer) and that is the opposite of helpful when you have a headache that makes you sensitive to smells. Purely my own doing and entirely faultless on the part of the manufacturers of the helmet. If you’re wondering if you should get this or if it will help you, the answer is yes.

I love that it fits sung, doesn’t move much when walking and the like... Also that the included ice packs are placed just where they should be to cover the aching areas of the head, it feels so good...But, that brings me to the ONE thing that I don’t like: there’s no pocket for the front of this hat, where the forehead is... Mist of my migraines hit either right or left forehead (almost in my eye sockets) or either the base of my head... There’s no coverage for the forehead...!!!Fix that, and this hate would be simply awesome... I’ve buy another if it featured that in a heartbeat...Otherwise, thanks for such a good product, now please add a forehead ice pack pocket... 👍🏾👍🏾

INITIAL REVIEW: I rarely write reviews, but this product is simply amazing so I had to pay it forward. Migraine and tension headache medicine no longer work for me because I used to take it so frequently. Let me tell you, this helps! Freeze for one hour or refrigerate overnight. If you keep it in the freezer overnight it’s ok, it will just be super cold and stay colder longer. An easy fix is letting it sit on the counter for a few minutes to let it warm up a little or just use it as is. Either way the ice packs are soft and work very well. You can even pull it over your eyes if you have eye pain from a migraine. I hope this helps someone the same way that this product and other reviews help me!—UPDATE AFTER 1 MONTH—I purchased this product twice so I could have an extra set of ice packs to put in rotation. I was sooo happy when I first purchased these, but now after only 1 month I am disappointed because I only have half of the ice packs that I purchased left. The concept of the hat and the flexibility of the ice packs are genius. But the gel packs will eventually burst at the seams and leak gel everywhere. It’s so unfortunate that the durability of the ice packs aren’t stronger because it works so well...until it doesn’t. I will not continue to purchase this…unless a more durable ice pack becomes available. I guess I have to search for another brand and style. Sigh.

I am just wanting to say to the seller, this is made nice. Although it should come in sizes because once you place the " Hard as rock" ice packs it doesn't fit your head. Which brings me to the ice packs. If they were made of the soft pliable gel would fit better. Once you place in freezer they are hard as. Rocks. Not good. And had I known that it was that type of ice packs I wouldn't have ordered it.. If you have softer ice packs would like those instead. Please let me know. Please email me about softer ice gel packs.UPDATE***** MY FREEZER IS NOT SET TOO LOW. THESR ARE LIKE PUTTING ICE CHUNKS ON YOUR HEAD. Ok, I have no idea why I did not know about these before- where have I been? A friend at work knows I suffer from migraines and asked if I had ever used a migraine cap, I was like “a what?” I immediately ordered one when I got home and am so glad I did!! When I get a migraine, a dark cold room and an ice pack to the head are two of the most important things that help. My problem was that my ice pack always slipped off my head!! I have used an ace bandage before to help keep it in my head before, but no more. With this amazing migraine cap I can go lay down and rest assured that the dice pack will stay in place. They ice packs are easy to put in the cap and remove from the cap. The cap is comfortable to wear. I like how the cap can be washed if it needs to be. My daughter suffers from migraines as well so we are both benefiting from this cap and it is a lifesaver. Love it!!
