Antec--get what you pay for: This unit is great!
Bought a different PSU from another site and it was night and day when I compared it to Antec's packaging and construction. Each item was wrapped and wired for easy breakdown, the wires were stamped so the end user can ID the proper plugs (included a guide), solid-truly solid construction compared to "nickel" finish PSU's, the main power cable had an additional sheath for protection, SATA cables were in two separate sets which made it that much easier to install-plug in my dvd/blu ray players which are 8 inches from the HDD. The second SATA bank cables were just as long and easily twisted and moved to plug into additional SATA HDDs.**NOTE - fan noise, not. The previous unit that I bought elsewhere had the same "80mm" fan and was constantly revved up. The Antec 80mm fan was high at start and then got quiet enough I did not hear it. I did go to the back of my pc to check and, since purchase, has worked perfectly and quietly.Have had this unit about 3 weeks now and no issues, no complaints. I would buy again when I need another PSU or need to recommend one--will recommend Antec.

Excellent Budget PSU
This PSU isn't meant for gamers with power hungry graphics cards. This makes an excellent power supply for a basic desktop. Office desktops and basic desktops are often below 150 Watts. There's no need to get a 600-700 Watt Power Supply for a basic computer. I've bought about 10 of these so far and they all work pretty well. Just a basic PSU.Pros:-Cheap-Reliable (I've bought over 10 of these already. They are all still running)-Efficient (80+ Bronze)-Antec (Good brand, some other good ones CorsXXr, SeasXXc)Cons:-Not modular (not surprising at this price point)-No power cordPower cords are cheap, I have over 20 extra. I'm going to give it 5 stars since it's pretty quiet and has proven to be quite reliable.

Quiet and Fairly Efficient
Update: 01/11/2016Nearly four years later, this PSU is still working with zero issues. I've added a couple more of peripherals since then, which has understandably pushed the power consumption to about 10W more on idle. Other than that, I don't see any sign of deterioration. I upped the rating to its well-deserved 5 stars. It is definitely one of the best products I have ever purchased.----------------------------I was looking for a replacement for my generic PSU, since my system at times felt like it didn't want to power up: it seemed it didn't have enough power. I have a couple of other desktops that run off ANTEC PSUs, and I have had no problems with them over the years. After reading the reviews, I decided to purchase this one because it's got good reviews and is 80 plus bronze. I thought I could save some energy as well. It worked right out of the box with no issues and as far as power consumption is concerned, here are the numbers from my Kill-a-Watt meter:Old system on Idle: 66-68WSystem with 380D on Idle: 57-60WOld system running at full: 100-105WSystem with 380D at full: 85-90WI believe it would have saved more power if it had a max. output of, say, 300W instead of 380W, since at lower loads, it is not running as efficiently as it is at higher ones. I am not using this particular system for any kind of gaming and I don't have a lot of cards or drives in my system; a 380W PSU is definitely an overkill. I wish they offered one with a smaller output. My take on this is that if your system is running at more than 80W at idle and 120W at full and there are some issues with your generic PSU, then it would probably be justified to spend $45 for this. Otherwise, you are better off sticking to your existing PSU until its end of life. (I ran some numbers. The savings on my annual energy bill would just be about $5. It would take 9 years to recoup the cost.)

Have owned it for 3.5 years, still going
I've had this power supply for a little over 3.5 years. I'm very happy with it and it has held up well. The warranty expired about 6 months ago and I just recently started to hear the fan sound like it's having problems but it's intermittent and may just need a thorough cleaning. Overall, I think it's a good power supply and I got it for a good price (it was $42.99 when I bought it).

Simply Does Its Job - Silently
This PSU has worked perfectly as expected. I really can't notice the fan running and the air coming out is barely warm. It is an efficient PSU, but I am not expecting to notice my electric bill going down. All I want from it is that the unit continues to work flawlessly for the next 5 or 10 years as it should if it is truly made of quality materials. Could care less that it is painted green, it is only a power supply. Based on just a few weeks use, it is fine and I'd buy another one if I needed one, though the true test is if this really does last for years without any problems.Update 12/14/15:This one has gone south after a little less than two years. Worked well up until it started having power fluctuations and caused data corruption on a hard drive. Replaced it with a SeaSonic SSP-350SE which is rated at >82% efficiency and 350 watts. Hoping that SeaSonic's good reputation with their higher end power supplies also applies here, only time will tell.It is getting more difficult to find rear exhaust top mounted PSU's as most seem to be made for bottom mounting and I don't see the point in getting a new case just to put a power supply in the bottom. I don't have any overheating problems and I don't knock over my supposed "top heavy" case. I can see the day coming when the only top mounted power supplies remaining will be the complete no-name bottom of the barrel power supplies that might just fry out your MB, processor, and drives. Guessing some day I will need to convert over, but not because I think there is anything inherently wrong with a top mounted power supply.
