A winner in the making
Review pertains to Sentey Revolution Pro:-Introduction-I am an avid fan of fps games and often look to have a mouse that I know I can depend on to help me be quick and precise with all forms of aim. Being a long term razer deathadder user, I would say I have been very fond of how light the mouse is and quite happy when I upgraded to the 2013 version of the mouse with increased dpi and the same optical precision. The one problem I have had with mice though is the lack of a good grip after being exposed to what the Logitech MX Revolution was capable of delivering. The fact that my thumb had plenty of leverage over the top of it in order to help lift a mouse was just unheard of in gaming mice and I was literally shocked Logitech didn't adopt this design into their G series mice, especially since they were going for heavier set mice. The best they had was just a simple groove that would give you a false sense of security. So for years I had searched on and off for a mouse with the MX Revolution's style of grip combined with dpi gaming precision to no avail. I eventually gave up and stayed reluctant with my deathadders. It wasn't until recent that a friend reminded me of my forgotten quest and so I was at it again, and lo and behold, ironically with the same name, I stumbled upon the Sentey Revolution Pro.If anything, the thumb grip on Sentey's mouse is the closest you will probably ever get to having a unimaginable lift leverage for any gaming mouse. It also comes with an optional interchangeable side panel that allows for a combined five finger fit where both your ring and pinky finger can be separated by a divider with two grooves. This in turn makes the mouse fit like a glove for smaller handed palm users like myself.-Notice-Please be aware that this mouse may not be quite as compatible/comfortable for larger hands (as stated in some reviews), hence why I detailed what I said at the end of my last paragraph. My hands are closest to a size 7 latex glove size, but still have plenty of divided space to work with.-Features-Normally I would stop here and say great job Sentey, but there is more to this mouse than even the price would have you believe. It is jam packed with features that clearly sold me the moment I read about them. These include the 4 directional scroll wheel, ceramic feet, dpi switch, 26 LED choices with dpi indicator, intuitive weight system with 6 weights, high quality omron switches with also back, forward, lift, mode buttons, braided cord, onboard data storage, and an additional quality case with extra swag. With that having been said, I feel it is necessary to cover a few of these in detail as to their importance.Ceramic feet:Never before have I ever seen a mouse use these. After researching reviews, I found out that they tend to slide more smoothly than teflon and are supposed to last the life of the mouse. In short, after using these on my Roccat Alumni, I found that the speed side was not too overly slippery for them, though the control side was just a bit stiffer. Overall, I am quite impressed and think that these should be on more mice as they are also supposedly capable of keeping a consistent glide throughout the life of the mouse.Lift Button:This feature is something a few have questioned as it could have just as easily been kept as an option in the software, but I feel having it on the mouse has been nothing but a benefit to me. Its purpose is to simply calibrate the laser so that is can operate at peak efficiency on most known surfaces. Previous laser mice have been lacking when it comes to calibration and this is the main reason I have previously strayed away from them due to their problematic spontaneous jumpy inaccuracies. The reason why I find this button valuable is because I use a double sided mat and can quickly swap between the speed and control sides while using the lift button to calibrate in a matter of a few seconds and be on my way. It is also good for recalibrating on the fly incase something were to happen to the tracking. One of the faults of having this button is that those with larger hands or who don't use a palm grip may accidentally hit it and screw up the tracking. In a situation of life and death in an fps game, this could be fatal, but the good news is, it recalibrates so quickly that it minimizes this fault pretty well. Also in the software, you can disable it on any profile by giving it the setting "No function". You can even make one profile have the calibration button and another for gaming without it. Now how cool is that?Weight System:All I can say is genius. Thanks to the switchable side grip, the weight system is located at the center of the mouse where it should be. Most mice have their weight systems at the back and bottom where it can often make the mouse feel unbalanced, instantly making this a godsend.Back/Forward Buttons:Positioning wise, these are spot on for smaller hands. There is actually a small sub divider just below the buttons that prevents your thumb from accidentally pressing them and actually allows for better leverage too. These buttons were often a problem for me with my deathadder as I found myself easily pushing the back button without meaning to, especially when having to grip and lift the mouse. With the Sentey mouse, all I have to do to push a button is actually lean my thumb into one or the other. There is also considerable space between these two buttons to preventing hitting both at the same time.Dpi Switch:This switch is actually more like a toggle switch as you move it forward or backward to change between 4 different dpi settings. The positioning of this button is not entirely ideal from what I can tell for some, but to me it is not a big deal as I don't usually need to be adjusting your dpi while directly in a fight. It is also a bit tough to move with the thumb, but that might just be as a precaution for those who accidentally run their thumb over it.I'd say I am already getting used to its placement and with enough force, don't seem to have much of a problem with getting it to switch.Mode Button:Not much to be said about this other than the fact that it changes between 5 different profiles which are tied into the software.Software:Offers 5 profiles for different button and macro configurations. Each profile has its own color for the LEDs to represent the profile selected which can be changed (even has a light off mode when you select the black color). There is no way to change the LEDs from their normal breathing mode or the dpi indicator color which will always be blue, but this is just for those who are being picky in my opinion. The mouse has onboard memory for instantly saving and making visible changes with macros and profiles. You can backup your data and restore it. The dpi section allows you to set 4 different dpi levels from 200 to 8200 in increments of 200 which is still specific enough for any enthusiast. My one and only gripe I have with the software is having to share dpi levels for all 5 profiles since one might want different levels for different games. Otherwise I am satisfied with what it has to offer overall. I have also used a macro on my right mouse button so far for jump crouching in Quake without a hitch. The macro manager in short has all it needs for key/mouse buttons with timings. Don't expect too much else beyond that though.-Customer Support (bonus)-Due to having an issue with one of the ceramic feet on my mouse being unbalanced, my mouse would often tip a slight bit forward at times which wasn't a performance hinderance, but certainly disgruntling.I called Sentey to place an RMA as I knew it couldn't be fixed and was told someone would call me back in 30 minutes. A couple hours later, I get a call and discuss my matter and immediately the representative said it was a manufacturer defect and would set me up with a replacement. He also stated that I would get a paid return slip for the defective one once the replacement shipped and didn't have to ship mine until theirs arrived first. In short, product arrived as two day priority shipping like the original one I purchased, though the second email they were supposed to send for tracking and instructions on returning the RMA has yet to be recieved through amazon. The replacement has proven very sturdy and sound, though unlike the previous one, this one now has one foot on the backside that isn't quite level and causes it to teeter backward if I attempt to lift the left side with my thumb while pushing down on the back right of the mouse. I was told this issue accounted for only 3% of problems, but I have a feeling some folks might not realize they have this type of defect (especially counting cloth pad users). Regardless, the amount of force required to cause this issue isn't enough of an actual problem to warrant another return as it is very balanced on the feet that really matter. Hopefully they find a better means of balance testing before finalizing the product from their production facility in the near future. This mouse is just too good to have it suffer from such a minor setback as this.As for the customer support itself though, many kudos. Keep it up. :)-Final Thoughts-After using this mouse for a couple of weeks now, I can be proud to say I have seen an increase in my accuracy by up to 10% (Quake 3 rail accuracy testing) as I have become more used to both the laser precision and melding grip of the mouse. It may feel a bit alien at first, but it really does grow on you. The best part is that when I lift it off to reposition, I do not have to struggle with moving my fingers at all to recenter them. The mouse is a tad bit heavier than logitech gaming mice, but the grip and ergonomic design more than make up for it.At the $40 price tag I bought it at, I'd say that this is steal of a deal. Thank you Sentey for making such an awesome product and going the distance to provide quality at an affordable price like no other. Not to mention being brave enough to challenge the status quo on designs. You have made a fan out of me, and I am not one to be easily impressed. Keep up the great work!4.5/5 Stars*IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFO*Follow the instructions in the booklet when installing the mouse. It says specifically to uninstall other mouse drivers/software, and I would greatly recommend this in the case of possible driver/software conflicts. Also the MarkC mouse acceleration fix with this mouse is a must, so google and download it![I will probably be back in a couple of months to give a longer term update on how the mouse continues to fair, just for the sake of ensuring that it stands up to the test of time. I blame Razer for this haha.]

A Product with Promise but Ends up Falling Short for FPS Gaming
I was looking forward to this product as an alternative to the Razer Deathadder at $10.00 cheaper for $39.99. I played some Ghost Recon with with. I triedd out the different weights to see what was best. and kept 2 of the six in. The mouse felt awkward at first but I was trying to look past that and keep an open mind. About an hour and a half in to gaming the mouse started to skip and get choppy. It continued to be choppy on the desktop and in web browsing. I tried adjusting the settings but i found the interface in the program to be clunky and not incredibly user friendly. After about a half hour of fiddling with it I decided I didn't want to fight with it I just wanted a product that worked.I packed up the product after about three hours trying to use it and arranged for a refund through Amazon. I immediately purchased the Deathadder at $49.99 which arrived before the weekend. No issues with the Deathadder yet. I tried going with an alternative to razer products because my last mouse died 3 months after the warrenty expired but in this case this product fell short. I think the mouse and Sentey as a company has promise but it's just not quite there. Maybe I will look to see if they have gaming headsets and give those a try.

Truly The Best Overall Mouse One Could Ask For
This review will be going over the Sentey® Gaming Mouse Revolution Pro. I say this just incase as all three or four of Sentey's mice seem to share the same reviews. I've used this product for around a month now and feel I can give my thoughts on this mouse.Let me go over what I love about this product. First, the braided cable. This may not seem like a big deal to most, but the braided cable is much less likely to get tangled up compared to the traditional cable. It also just feels much more durable as well. The weight system in this mouse is like no other. As most other mice, this comes with six weights that can be added, each one being 29.4 grams. The thing that is so different about this weight system is that the weights are actually placed in the very center of mouse. The weights are not just added on the bottom like 99% of other mice. So with that, the mouse feels very natural when you move it. It will not feel to heavy in the front, back, left, or right side of the mouse. Another deal breaker for me was ergonomics, and this mouse is perfect! You have the choice between two interchangeable side grips (where your ring and pinkie lie) that fit your hand just right. With these my ring and pinkie finger no longer has to awkwardly grip the mouse on the side. Now, they just rest on the side of the mouse with no problem. My thumb also fits on the mouse nicely on the left side of the mouse. The matte black finish on the mouse also feels great to the touch. As for tracking and the movement of the mouse, it excels. This mouse just glides on a mouse pad like nothing. It uses ceramic pads on the bottom which I have not seen before. You also get up to 8200 DPI which certainly isn't needed, but always a plus to have. On the left side of the mouse there's an on the fly DPI switch which is very convenient. Scroll wheel works just fine. You can use it to scroll up and down of course, but left and right as well. You may also use it as a button if you wish to program it like that. With that comes the software. I haven't had any problem with the software whatsoever. Only fault against it is that there's not a Mac/OSX version. What's really important about this mouse is that it has on-board memory, meaning that you can save multiple configurations on the mouse itself and switch between configurations my using the "mode" button on the top of the mouse. There are 26 different LED choices if that matters to you. Lastly, the mouse comes with a great case. And this not just some cheap little case either. It has a nice hard outer shell as well as a place to hold either interchangeable side grip and all of the weights. The only thing I don't like about the mouse is that you are limited to a wired mouse. I know wired is best for gaming, but if I'm using the mouse casually, I'd like the option to use it wireless.Quick overview of the pros and consPros1. Durable braided cable (less tangles)2. Unique weight system, better than any other I've seen3. Interchangeable side grips gives you great ergonomics4. Ceramic pads below the mouse let it move very smoothly5. Up to 8200 DPI6. On-board memory to save different configurations7. Good software8. Comes with a great travel/storage case.Cons1. Can only use mouse as a wired mouse. No wireless optionHopefully I can get my hands on there Gho5t G-S 5900 keyboard soon as I am eager to try it out as well as review it on here.
