I dropped my computer and broke my screen. I am an art major and the classes that I am taking now are all with Photoshop and Illustrator. So I needed to get this repaired FAST! I found this screen that fit my Toshiba Satellite. Very fast shipping (2 days).I then called around my city to find a computer repair shop and they all told me it would be $150, if not more than that. Well THANK YOU YOUTUBE! I found a 5 minute video that had shown me how to change my screen. IT WAS SO EASY> the link is at the bottom of my comment. I am not computer literate (which is sad because I'm only 28).The screen is PERFECT. I just changed my screen about 10 minutes ago. It had taken me around 15 minutes to change my screen.

Replacement screen works fine; but I give 2 stars because the packaging was unbelievably skimpy.One piece of cardboard, folded in two, with one piece of tape around it. The edges of the screen were visible around 3 sides of the cardboard. I can't believe it arrived with no damage. There was a bright green sticker on the front that said something like "do not send like this; needs more packaging". So this was an Amazon problem (the fulfiller), not the original supplier's problem.

Just got this today; ordered on a Sunday afternoon around 3pm and received it before 12pm on Tuesday. (2 day shipping) Packaging was absolutely horrible and offered zero protection on this screen, it was literally sliding around in the box. But thankfully it came undamaged. It was easy to replace myself and had no missing/dead pixels as some had mentioned. I'd consider myself an amatuer regarding PC's. It has a nice clear picture. So glad I was able to repair my laptop myself and save lots of money!

At the begening I thought it was a good purchase but it just worked fine for about 2 months. The screen looses colors, gets yellow squares and suddenly goes off/on.Just a waste of money . Big Junk

I was guessing on what screen I needed, but everything looked about right. This was bought as an alternative to taking it to a computer shop, it arrived quickly and was super easy to install. I followed a video on YouTube and was done in 15 minutes. It actually looks better than my old screen. Now I'm thinking of buying the touch screen version to fix my mom's computer. This is awesome!!!

I rolled over my HP laptop and smashed the screen only - TG I thought i had lost the laptop, but my tech at work looked up this replacement screen and for about $50 i have a working machine now!!! THANK YOU!! much cheaper than a quote i received for returning the laptop to some Geek Squad for hundreds of dollars. EXCELLENT and REASONABLE solution. Now if any one could please fix this lousy windows 8 i'd be even happier ...........kris

Excellent Replacement. This screen fit my laptop perfectly and works exactly like the original. Clear picture and easy installation. I would highly recommend this replacement screen to anyone. As a matter of fact, I am actually typing this message on my new screen.
