Typical poor quality
Typical poor quality canes from an Amazon supplier. We live on a small farm in TN so finding grapes locally is tough - wine grapes no problem as we have several local vineyards/wineries but. It table grapes! As a result, we're stuck with on line shopping and learning to root our own canes (which adds a year or 2 to decent production times). So unless you've got time and can root your own, you have to buy rooted vines. These canes had the most anemic set of roots I've ever gotten. Think newly (or very poorly) rooted canes with 2-3 roots 4 inches long per cane on 4 of 6 canes...come on, use a rooting compound and some kelp extract and send a decently rooted cane!Thankfully, I've learned how to buy grapes from amazon (and root my own cuttings). Here's the secret...buy at least 2-3x what you need! Pick the best and plant them in some decent compost amended soil and some kelp extract, mulch. I use chicken litter every other year (have chickens so why not). And learn to prune! Take your crappy low quality left overs and plant them in the garden or pots. Occasionally you get a decent one surviving you can use next year or give to a friend.

I was skeptical
Arrived in great shape. I could not find these locally. I was a little skeptical, but they are doing great. Not sure how long it will take to produce, but the plants are doing good

Table grapes
The grapes arrived in excellent condition, originating from Double A Vineyard in Georgia, and have begun to develop. I don't understand how Double A can sell grape plants on Amazon when they refuse to sell grapevines to anyone in Washington stateover the internet, but these were good vines in excellent health so the above opinion is irrelevant.

maybe my fault, but one is growing
Only 1 of 3 have grown. One was wacked with a weed eater (not suppliers fault), other one is not showing any signs of growth. My concord grapes from this supplier are excellent - all 3 growing like crazy!I used coconut coir and a raised garden for concords.Planted Vanessa red grapes directly in ground with fertile soil. Maybe not enough drainage, soil too compact or contaminated?
