This thing made short work out of cutting off locks from our storage units. We had to buy a different blade because it came with a grinder blade. We cut off over 12 Brinks locks like butter.

Unfortunately, when this came to us, the box looked battered and the plastic inside wasn't even wrapped around the tool but just placed over it. The tool itself does work but does NOT look new as advertised.

I like the grinder. It's reasonably powerful, has good rpms, and decent battery life. However, the switch leaves a bit to be desired. It is difficult enough to lock that it becomes annoying.

Light weight easy to use excellent tool

Works great. Easy to operate and no chord to tangle. Love it. I have almost all of the other Hitachi tools that operate on the same battery.

I really like the portability of the cordless. But.. it’s rpm is significantly lower, and not near the torque, of even a light duty corded angle grinder. It’s applications aren’t exactly the same.
