A really great deal. but if you want screen mirroring and Freeview then look elsewhere
A very good deal indeed. I received an email shortly after my purchase saying I can continue getting the entertainment package for £3.99 a month for the next six months which was the cherry on top of an already good deal.It was very easy to set up. Everything you need is included in the sealed box. the free passes are already loaded onto the stick and it took no longer than ten minutes to set up completely. The stick outputs at 1080p which is good enough for my 42" Tv. It also has plenty of popular apps including Netflix and Youtube and you can pause and rewind Sky channels. You can also watch it on six devices with just one account which is impressive. The only slight quibbles I have is that screen mirroring isn't available with the Now tv stick, so if this is an important feature for you then maybe consider the Roku box. The Roku also has Amazon Prime which is one of the few apps the stick does not have due to Amazon selling their own device (Firestick). All in all very happy, a great bit of technology for £20.

Superb value (on offer)
I already own a Roku stick and regularly top up my Now passes on Amazon (much cheaper than directly from Now TV by the way)I made the mistake of buying what I thought was a google home (or equivalent) when in fact it was just a mirror from my phone and I already have that option on my Smart TV in my living room and there is a lot (including Now, Netflix, Amazon Prime) that just won't mirror via HDMI on my old but very reliable tv in my bedroom, so have been waiting for an offer on either Roku or a fire stick. This popped up by chance when I was looking for something else, but at time of buying (and time of writing my review), this Roku stick was less than £20 but with a month's cinema and entertainment passes and a day sports pass included, this just made this purchase incredible value and with my prime membership, it was here next day :)As you've probably gathered, I already have a Now TV account and I was aware that the passes were built in. I currently have monthly passes that are due to kick in any day, so when setting up the Now stick, I was thinking I would receive codes and was on standby to contact them.Remote batteries are included in the box and once I'd plugged the stick into one of the HDMI slots at the back of the TV and plugged the USB cable into the side of the TV (the box also includes a USB plug if you don't have this option in your TV), turn the telly to the relevant HDMI source and the stick requests that you pair the remote. As soon as I put the batteries in, it started pairing no problem. When setting up, just be aware that you will need to use the code the TV setup gives you to activate the Roku stick, but if you already have an account, don't follow through after you have entered the code.I went back out of this setup and it asked if I already have an account or wanted to set up a new one. I logged into my account to find that in "my offers" the passes are already there waiting to be redeemed! As you can only have one of each pass running at any one time, I will redeem these when I'm in my last month and log in to the day sports pass as and when. The whole process, including connection to wifi, updates and logging into my account on the new stick was less than 15 minutes. What I was really surprised to find when I did open the box that it had 2 x duracell AAA batteries for the remote control and also a £3.49 voucher to use in the Sky Store that doesn't expire until October 2021, so all in all a fantastic purchase!Last couple of things I should mention:If you have a wall mounted TV you may want to use an extender as the stick comes out of the back of the TV by about 4 inches. If you don't have a USB socket in your TV, you will need to ensure that you have a local plug socket for the plug. You will need a wifi connection for this to work - there is no option for ethernet.and lastly, don't forget to cancel your pass before it's due to expire!! It will let you run to the expiry date, but if you don't renew with a voucher upon expiry, Now TV will take the full amount for each pass. The good thing about Now over Sky and Virgin options is that you can dip in and out as you like on a month by month basis.

Simple and useful
Works just how you need it to, there are often offers on the vouchers for extra months on other sites so can be a cheap way for sky TV and movies. Obviously lots of Disney owned content is disappearing before Disney + launches at the end of march, but the box sets etc are very good.We now use it on the bedroom TV, but I take it in my pocket to my parents when I stay there so don't miss out on my shows.Haven't used voice search much but seems fairly reliable at finding stuff.

EPG poor and unexpected charge
Bought this as beginning to get bored with Netflix. Good deal with the movie and entertainment pass. Disappointed with the EPG for the TV channels as it only tells you what's on now and next so you can't see what's on beyond the next programme- very poor. Also disappointed that when watching a TV channel you can't pause or rewind live TV. Lastly, accessed the help pages for something and was very surprised to see a 10p charge appear on my bank statement! Charging to access the help pages? That is disgusting. The good thing is you don't need a contract so I'll probably not renew the movies as I have Amazon Prime but I will keep the entertainment package until I've watched everything of interest in the box sets. 'Now' really do need to improve the EPG and they should certainly not be charging to access the help pages. I will be complaining to them about that,

Got another Now TV stick for bedroom
I got another Now TV stick for bedroom few weeks ago and I have noticed that you can now access Live ITV channels and Live BBC Scotland which I’m sure you couldn’t do a few months ago (so I can now watch live Corrie in bed !) I think Sky must have added this facility of late. I only pay for The entertainment package not for films or sport but i have access to Sky Box office so i can purchase films if want to. I think the stick is great and there are loads of things to stream and catch up on and you also have some Live Sky channels. I pay £8.99 a month for the entertainment package which I think well worth the money. If you want Netflix you have to pay another monthly fee.

Brilliant!
Dead easy to install, just follow the on screen instructions and you have Sky TV without the headache of having to deal with Sky!We have passes for Sky Cinema, Entertainment and Sky Sports, along with the boost and it works out £5 a month more expensive than getting direct from Sky, but after 2 engineer visits from Sky with them refusing to install on a port that is double insulated with out it being earthed its worth the extra money (BTW double insulation doesn't require earthing, its a Sky want not a legal requirement)
