Pepperpot Lil' Star Baby Record Book (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I bought this baby book for my second son, after returning a couple others. Had a pepperpot baby book for my first son which I loved. It's worth the additional $$ since the design is very cute (lovely colorful images throughout) and the effort a busy mom needs to fill out the details is minimum (given that you've committed to preparing a baby book in the first place).I'm yet to fill out this one, but I can speak for the first one that has exactly the same fields/outline: There's place to fill out details (e.g. first vacation, first holiday, first bath, first solids etc.) and track growth (e.g. teething, favorite song/toy/etc.) and some pre-specified spots for pictures. However, what I did was filling out all the details I wanted, skipping some, and instead covering the rest of the pages with pictures. The book, however, allows you to have a "theme" in each section (and not having to improvise too much). In the beginning of the book there's a "my family" section that allows you to include pictures of mommy & daddy (and siblings) before the baby was born, an ultrasound picture, and in the end of the book there are a few empty pages to add whatever you'd like. I also like the fact that it has one page for every birthday (up to 5th) although I could use some more space for the pictures there (it only holds one). However, it has entries about who attended, what gifts where given etc.Would highly recommend.

I bought this book for my first child and am happy with the product. It can be a little nerve racking to buy a book without being able to see the inside of it and I was scared that I would not like it. However, when I opened the book for the first time I happily found a lot of interesting pages to fill out. It has space for letters to the baby, price lists for what things cost the day the baby was born, and places to put pictures for baby's 1st,- 4th birthdays. (with many more informational pages) It also has all of the usual items like a family tree, baby's first picture, teeth records, etc. The quality of the book is excellent and it should last for years. I also like the plastic case it comes in for storage. I would recommend this to anyone.

This book is adorable, inside and out. It has all the pages you might want with plenty of places for pictures, milestones, etc, and a few pages I never would have thought of. The pages are of decent quality, and writing comes out nicely. My worry is that the cover won't hold up over time. It's essentially paper on a hardcover book - not like a regular book, or a nice cloth or leather, which would last longer. I've noticed a slightly discolored spot already - it looks like when a drop of water gets on watercolor paper, if you know what I mean. I will probably just put a plastic protector over it, as I am generally pleased with it and have already put a fair bit of time and effort into the pages!

I looked on a website at pictures of the pepperpot brand of books. The pictures did not do justice. I love this book. My husband and I ordered it Monday and received it two days later. The book comes in its own clear plastic box (which I think is perfect for safe keeping). The pictures and pages look amazing. I am excited to get started on completing our first baby book! There is alot of space and types of information you can supply in this book if you like. Again this is the exact book I have been looking for all over the web. I recommend this product. I bought this book for my son and absolutely loved it. Once I found out I was having a girl I searched around for this in a girl version and had no luck finding it. I was thrilled that I was able to find this on amazon. the pages have practical uses that you will want to remember and your child will love to go back and read later on in life. There are plenty of pages that hold photos to capture the fond memories. I think you will love this memory book.

I purchased this for a friend who was having her first baby.Liked that it was unisex (pink for girls/blue for boys is SO overrated), and had a cute design (but not overly cutesy).She seemed thrilled to receive it, so I consider that a WIN!

Purchased a Pepper Pot baby book for my first baby and was so impressed with the content and the craftsmanship that I specifically looked for a book by Pepper Pot only, completely disregarding the other brands- regardless of price. In regards to the price- it's a little steep but you get what you pay for and I am VERY happy with my purchase. Amazon ships free over $25 so I didn't pay shipping and it arrived quickly- that's important as I am located in a remote area.

I bought this baby book in a boy's version (already had the pink giraffe version from my daughter). This Global Gathering looked cute and I was thrilled when I received it to see that the colors were very vibrant, not as washed out as shown in the pics on Amazon. This baby book has all the basics you want in a baby's memory book in a contemporary layout. The artwork is adorable and good for those savvy Mom's.
