How this is so effective at all times, i don't know! it's just brilliant. My son loves his too. It really makes the air warm as you breathe it in. The only problem was our goggles misted up at certain speeds but i'm not sure what you can do about that (will try a demister). Really comfortable and someone even manages not to flatten your hair!

My order arrived quickly. I am very pleased with it however I leave four stars because the internal wash and info label is positioned in the wrong place and is too long. I had to remove it which left a tiny hole in the stitching but I have had it now more than 5 months. It has been tried and tested in every condition. I've got to say no other full face mask I know is this thin yet it prevents wind to get through. Worn with proper eye weary is perfect! Every cyclist needs this and the Matching Gore gloves. I have tried and tested many different types of cyclist head gear for warmth and weather resilience and this is by far the best. I promise you'll not be dissapointed

Keeps out the wind brilliantly. Bit tight to get on but then u dont want it flapping. Good value

I wanted my face covered against the cold when cycling but still be able to breathe well. The balaclava has holes for mouth breathing and a vent just below the nose. However, wearing cycling glasses results in total fog when you start breathing heavily. I had to stop and take my glasses off. Thinking I might try an old pair of swim goggles instead or ski goggles. I also found that the material below the nose area got very soggy as my nose just streamed with being semi-enclosed. The material is thinner than expected and it’s difficult to pull and off as a tight fit round the neck. I think a buff pulled up would work more efficiently.
