Using this to reglass an 83 Prindle catamaran after major repairs. Glassing the entire side of the pontoon on one. Using West System Epoxy resin and a 2 inch brush to apply, then rolling with this to flatten any bubbles underneath. I'm getting very good results. Cleans well with Acetone. You definitely NEED to clean after each use or it will be solid as a rock next time you look at it.. I have not had to disassemble the roller, however. Just make sure the acetone doesn't get too saturated with epoxy. Was a must have tool for this job! Very glad I bought it.

This roller is unique in that the lower ridges are still doing some work while not rolling up like a solid roller would. The only downside is fabric strands will roll into the margins. I just drop the roller in acetone overnite and pull the fabric out after solvent has done some work on it. But this thing does what I want it to do and is awesome for wet tape laminating. I use mine all the time. It will leach aluminum from use; simply wipe the bushing with towel-part of the job.

A must have for lightweight and strong fiberglass structures. I soak it over night in acetone after use and its always clean as a whistle the next morning.

Rollers seem to be OK quality, more or less not so complicated replacement. Why replacement? If I have ordered 6" (BUBBLE BUSTING SPIKE DESIGN)roller and got 2", no spikes one. So I asked for a replacement. What did I get- is in pictures. Yes, two 2" rollers(1 + replacement), and no 6". No communication as well. Wasted two weeks of my time. Will return both , had to by similar from other seller, no problems with that and fast shipping.P.S. Seems like I am not the only one with the same problem.

Works well on fiberglass cloth - does NOT work well on rough cross-fiber material which tends to stick to the roller requiring acetone cleanup.
