Dreamfarm Garject 2-In-1 Garlic Peeler, Garlic Press & Mincer with Garlic Peel Ejector, Chrome-Plated Zinc - Black

This is my second Dreamfarm garlic press. It is a replacement for one that I purchased probably 7-8 years ago and used numerous times each week during that time. The garlic press is heavy duty and works well with fresh or frozen garlic and easily ejects the garlic skin. It is a favorite kitchen gadget. The only reason I purchased a new one is because the interior surface of the chamber on the first one was wearing off after so much use. I highly recommend the Dreamfarm garlic press.

I am pretty skeptical of garlic presses when a good knife does the job easily, however spouse really wanted one so I went down the rabbit hole in looking for one. OXO redesigned theirs so it no longer had the ejector. I tried the Rosele and Joseph Joseph, both of which did not impressive. Both were hard to clean and didn’t press that well. The removable scraper on Joseph was cumbersome - one that attaches is essential. We also bought one from IKEA with a removable basket and while it works well, you can really only fit one garlic clove in at a time.I found out about this one from Fanny Singer and this does not disappoint. It works best with multiple cloves and with skin on. It crushed well and the ejector was fun to use. I like the design. It rinsed off easily. My husband loves using it and I use it occasionally too when I’m feeling lazy and don’t want to chop.

As a garlic lover, we grow garlic in our vegetable garden and I use it very frequently in recipes. I’ve owned a number of garlic presses, and finally have found one that meets my needs. This is a heavy duty press (not at all flimsy) and not only does a great job of pressing a garlic bulb but offers the added advantage of “self-cleaning” the pressed garlic (with a little attached scraper) as a well as cleaning the holes through which the garlic has been pressed (with metal tines on the flip side of the handle). It’s easy to hand wash or throw in the dishwasher. This is a serious, heavy duty garlic press for demanding garlic lovers!

Unfortunately there is some wastage. It doesn't completely squish all garlic from the press. Some seepage occurs around the side and I am not sure it completely closes/compresses either. Garlic generally has a bit of fiber, i am not referring to the fibbers not being pressed out. I had a great IKEA press that extracted/pressed all garlic out. So I have that to compare to. However, the design otherwise is pretty good, I have the plastic one so maybe the metal might be a bit more ridged and have a better extraction. It is easy to clean.

Sturdy stainless, looks like it will last forever. Clever design, works as advertised: insert unpeeled garlic clove, close gadget. Squeeze hard, be rewarded with macerated garlic. Open gadget, flip internal bit to expel peel. Done. Flip cleaning gadget, push out any bits left in holes. Rinse.Note: You need a decent grip strength for this; significant hand weakness or arthritis might make it difficult.

This press is hard to use, doesn't press the garlic that well, leaves a lot of wasted/unpressed garlic in the press, and whose additional features like the push button to eject the waste and the "scraper" that claims to scrape pressed garlic off the surface of the press and into your dish don't work. It remained difficult to clean, and the extra features just got in the way of an already sub-par pressing experience. I returned it. Don't waste your money.

Heavy duty! No need to peel the clove, pop it in, crush, opening the press scrapes the crushed garlic into your pot, pan or bowl. Ejector tab flips the hull out (sometimes it needs a little help). Press is especially good if you’re using a lot of garlic in your recipe.

Instrument fo cooking or vampire killer tool, this will last you a life time !I wont suggest using it with the skin on (so easy to remove anyway)!Easy to clean, solid, crush garlic effortless.Cleanning feature to keep your fingers away.THE perfect tool unless you wish to use whole cloves....

Gostei muito desse produto. De fácil manuseio e cada parte do espremedor contribui para a trituração e depois retirada das partes amassadas do alho. Triturou bem sem que eu precisasse fazer muita força. Vale muito à pena!

Tüm sarımsağı firesiz kullanıyorsunuz. kabuğu ile beraber makineye yerleştiriyorsunuz. Temizlemesi çok kolay.

you just don't want to go back to some of the flimsy feeling garlic presses after using this one.yes its just a garlic press, but a rolls royce is just a car.Its been easier to clean, its sturdy, its hefty feeling, with just some very convenient features.the best part, of course being you don't have to peel the garlic, just pop in the cloves and squeezeyou get to skip the the faff of peeling them.fair enough its expensive, but for such a little task in the kitchen it can make a surprising difference and i expect it to last for years to come.it was recommended to me by someone else and I'm glad he did, i get it now.

It arrived today and I wasted no time in using it. It was excellent and it is right that you don’t have to touch any garlic after pressing, which means no garlic smelling hands, which is great as long as you don’t live in Transylvania. Seriously, it’s boss!
