We have a lot of clay in our soil. We were looking for a fertilizer that was organic and was high in nitrogen. After doing some research and finding out that feather meal was high in nitrogen and organic we use this. When the corn was about waist high we side dressed all of the rows. This is very easy to use. We sprinkled it between the rows and gently incorporated it into the soil. As you can see from the picture my son is 6 foot tall. Our corn stocks or approximately 12 to 14. This had to ship across from the United States, so it did take approximately five business days to arrive. It was as they estimated.

This feather meal is just what I needed to re-plenish the soil in my landscaping and vegetable gardens. I didn't realize how "empty" the soil was at this house, since it looked great, and I had been adding compost to the soil for years. So much for looks. I took some soil samples and submitted them to a local soil lab, and found out the soil was depleted of nitrogen! I applied this product at the recommended application amount, and within a week all the plants came to life - so much healthier!

Really turned my raised beds around after I did a soil test and found them to be nitrogen deficient. A great organic option. Don’t just add this to your soil willy-nilly though, it’s a specific treatment for a specific issue. For that, it is excellent.

Works good price ok

Been using this fertilizer for years. Decided to buy the big bag this year to save a little money on a "unit cost per weight" basis. Works just as well as the same product in the 5 lbs box. Smells terrible. Not much else to say. If you need organic nitrogen fertilizer and nothing else, this is the product you want.

Sprinkle it near and on flowers and the deer no longer eat the flowers so you get to enjoy them.Mich cheaper than deer sprays
