I’ve owned and used many Luci lights over the years, and they have largely served my needs as lightweight and packable camp lights. However, when using for camping or travel I have often not had the sunlight or time to adequately recharge them, especially in the winter when days are short and lamp usage times increase. This new addition of a usb recharge port is the perfect solution! Slightly heavier, yes, and though is somewhat less useful for backpacking because of the added weight, for camping and travel it is perfect. Still love the durability, collapsibility, good light output, as well as the matte finish for a more diffused and warmer light. The only nock I have on these Luci lights (and the reason for 4 stars) is the ridiculous requirement that one has to simultaneously pinch and blow into the nozzle in order to get air into it. After all these years I can still just barely fit my fingers and my teeth onto the nozzle to inflate the lamp, and it usually takes several tries to get it. There’s got to be a better way! Still, a solid and tested light that suits my outdoor activities well.

I really like this little light. Works great & lasts a long time if you don’t use the USB charger. The USB charging is only enough to charge a cell phone a little bit, so good for one or two calls. Takes a while to charge so it will be good in urgent but not emergency conditions.

The light when you need it! I actually use mine indoors now also ! It’s great for camping inside a tent or cooking also. Replaces the weight of a heavy lattern and you do not have to blind anyone with a head lamp .

I love the concept. Light is not charging my phone though. Must call company.

Good light, we will be bringing it backpacking with us at Havasu. Heavier than I thought it would be based on it's size, so I might try to make my pack lighter to accommodate.

Brilliant idea, but the USB charger doesn't work, so it's essentially just another Luci in my collection.
