Little Handiworker Workhorse
I really liked this toy. More importantly, so did my grandson!! He doesn't quite know how to do all the things with it yet, but he likes learning. Loves to pound with the hammer!!! He is learning to walk now so he tries to pull himself up on the bench, but he is a little too big to do that. The bench cannot support his weight.(#23.) It is a terrific value....Little Tykes never lets me down.

Girls Hammer Too!
I bought this for my little 18 month old granddaughter who is always interested in how things work. So, along with her kitchen set, I bought her a tool set. The same day I opened it up and put it together (which was kinda difficult for this gramma), we were setting up a new bed in the guest room. She came in with her hammer and started "working" on the frame with us. Ha!

My 2-year-old likes it!
My son quickly learned how to work the screws and pound in the nails. He plays with it from time to time. The only complait I had is that the gears on the front are too tight. I have seen this product (older ones) at others' houses, and they do not seem to have that problem. Not sure if we just got a defective one, or if they will loosen over time, or what. They are so tight that it is hard for me to turn them, nevermind a 2-year-old. If I had known they would be so tight, I would have left the middle one out. It is impossible to take it out after it is put together, so we are stuck with it. He gets so frustrated because he wants to do it himself. Otherwise, this is a fun toy for him.

Awful assmbly
I can't even put it together because the pieces don't match up right. It requires you to have a block of wood. Not everyone who buys this for their kid is a carpenter. I have no review of how the toy works because it doesn't even go together. It folds down so it should have already been put together.

Son loved it, until it fell apart after a week.
This is a very cute work bench for smaller children. Even though I think the box said for 2 yrs old, I bought it for my 12 month old who stands and walks well and is used to playing with "big boy" toys. He loved it! The play nails, screws and gears are great for coordination and motor skills. The only problem is that he only got to play with it for about 1 week before the stand/legs collapsed. The legs were difficult to put on initially, and not due to human error with assembly; it seemed like the legs wouldn't expand far enough to steady the bench. My husband now has to take it apart again to fix it. It could be we just got a defective model but still diappointed that this toy didn't last very long, especally since my son was having so much fun with it.

Frustrating for little hands
Very cute but the pieces are hard for even me to get on and out of the holes. He got it at 1 year and a year later still gets frustrated if I put the screws or nails in because he can't get them out. Ends up slinging it around and having a tantrum. He does enjoy the few tools outside of the bench so he can "fix" things with his Dad. I can't help but feel I would have been better off with a cute little toolbox.

Cute toy for our little handyman
This is a good sized toy for our 12 month old. It is light weight and easy to carry around the house. It's durable and comes with fun tools. My only suggestions is that it has 5 holes for nails/screws but only comes with 4 nails/screws. I don't think it would cost much to add one more to the toy.

Glad I Purchased!
I bought this for my son to help his young mind to learn. We have had this since 12/2012 and he still plays with it all the time. Its very durable and recommend to other parents its safe also. Buy with piece of mind that you and your child won't be disappointed.
