It's not authentic anymore
I have been using Windsor & Newton Ox Gall for years. Recently, they didn't bother stating that this is not authentic Ox gall anymore. It used to smell like an animal product and was brown in tint. Now it smells like a toxic chemical. I can tell the difference. It doesn't work as well either. I find it extremely disheartening that they don't state on the label that this is not authentic ox gall but a chemical substitute.
