Fenders are exactly as advertised. They will do the job I purchased them for.

The inflatable floor of my dinghy shortens the legroom so by adding this fender to the top of the tube it is much more comfortable to drive the dinghy especially with the tiller extension.

With a racing sailboat I care about every ounce of weight on my boat. We only use fenders for docking anyways, but still bring them along "in case". These are really light and dont take up alot of room either. They're not close to the amount of protection you get from a big inflated fender, but plenty for most uses. I'd highly recommend for any racing sailors, or if you have a small light boat and want to use fenders that can also be a cushion.

We have purchased numerous times the protection is fabulous however, the durability when your boat hits against the cushion, rips fairly easy or the eye grommets it rips off

Did the job

I ordered these because we live in a high traffic area on a lake. We have had traditional round bumpers but they would get pushed up by the waves and the boat would end up rubbing against the dock. These are great. They hang perfectly and no matter how rough the water gets, they have stayed in place. And while they show some wear, it is not nearly as bad as what I thought it might be by now.
