Excellent for price.
Only have a fairly small living room so don't really need a powerful hifi. This has more than enough power for my needs. Connects to bluetooth easily for spotify etc. Have had to purchase separate dab aerial as included aerial wasn't picking up many dab stations where I live. Would recommend.

Replaced a Sony for this.
Let’s hope this lasts longer than the Sony.Bit dearer so it might. Much preferred the remote control unit on the Sony,, this one is really naff.. poor quality and small.

You get what you pay for
Everything on it works, it has an extra USB-C socket on the rear of mine which isn't mentioned in the instructions or shown in the photographs, I haven't experimented with it.The biggest flaw is the display - or lack of it. Even on the high brightness setting it is only just visible under normal room lighting and it is almost impossible to read. On the low setting it can only be seen at all in complete darkness. The advertising photographs are very misleading and obviously 'photoshopped' to make the display readable.Quality is nothing special and a serious audiophile would squirm but for a cheapish all-in-one it isn't too bad.[edit - one year later and the CD player has died, a few days out of warranty.]

Faulty in less than 12 months.
Enjoyed this Hi-Fi for 10 months... Then the CD draw decided to stop working unless you switched it off at the wall and pressed eject when switched on again. Expected better long-term quality from a Philips product. Zero support from Philips customer care as the item was less than 12 months old. Referred me back to Amazon to deal with.

Poor sound quality - No bass!
The sound quality is not good enough for rock and metal. Just not enough power and not enough bass, no matter which setting it was on.The radio aerial is tiny. Barely picked up signal.Volume on bluetooth is low. REALLY low. Turned all the way up to 30 with my phone all the way up was barely loud.Didn't test the CD player, because that's when I put it back in the box and plugged the old system back in.
