Steady and wide enough
My mother is super happy with this shower seat. It is very wide that she can seat comfortably and steady. Even though it is recommended as a transfer seat it is also useful to use as a regular shower seat. I do recommend the item if you need something wide enough.

Sturdy, useful shower bench
Went together easily. Light enough that at 75 yrs young, I can move it for my disabled son, yet sturdy enough not toFlex or give when he sits. Fits even in my smaller shower, but do measure!

NEVER ORDERING FROM HEALTHLINE AGAIN!
Three times I ordered this shower transfer bench. The first one was lost in the mail. The second one came with the holes in the legs incorrectly drilled. The third one was obviously used, sent back to Healthline, and then repackaged and sent to me as a replacement for the previous one. Also, several pieces were broken and some were just missing.Never ordering anything from Healthline again!

Good product but my tub was too narrow.
This is very easy to assemble. The product arrived with damaage on a couple of places, but it was still useable. Others have recommended that you measure your tub, and I agree with that. At a minimum, you need to measure the height both in and out of the tub, as well as the width of the inside of the tub. Then look at the height ranges available for the seat/bench as shown in the product specs - to make sure your height measurement are included. For me the bench worked okay, but because of such a narrow tub, most of the bench was outside the tub. I did find some sellers that carried transfer benchs for narrow tubs, but the prices were in the $300 range. Suction: I have a fiberglass tub with texturizing on the floor of the tub. The suction pads do not work for that floor. However I found mats on Amazon that were sort of like lufah sponges on top and very rubbery on the back. I can put chairs on those mats and the chairs stay in place, but not because of suction, just sticky rubber.

Very sturdy bench
This bench is sturdy and I feel safe. It is important to remember how deep this seat is and measure carefully. I had to replace my cabinet so I can better swing my legs over the tub.
