Roebic makes great drain cleaners, openers, and sewer line openers. This product works like a champ.

I've been purchasing this product to help alleviate clogs from my kitchen sink drain. Older house, smaller drain pipes in basement, etc. I often had to clean out the pipes in basement every year but since I've started using this product I've only had to clean it once in last few years. I probably got lax on using the product and the grease and food particles slowly clogged the pipes. But I've been very diligent since and hope that this product continues to "eat away" at the grease and food particles which end up in the drain (difficult to train the family to not use sink as a disposer which we don't have). People should not expect this product to unclog a completely plugged drain. This is meant for continual maintenance.What i don't like is the huge price increase. Went from $9.63 for 16oz to over $17 on amazon. Just found this product at Fleet Farm locally for $8.49. Thanks for introducing me to this product Amazon but twice the price I need to buy elsewhere.

I live in an old house with a finicky slow drain. After a week of persistent use, this product succeeded where drano, snaking, baking soda and vinegar, and potfuls of boiling water all failed.

This product quickly cleared up my plumbing issue of washing machine causing toilet to slosh water on the floor. I used it at night as recommended in wash machine drain, adjoining bathroom sink, toilet and kitchen sink. Flushed water through all drains the following morning and problems were resolved. Will use monthly as recommended.

If you're looking for a "maintenance" product for solving that perennial clogging in your bathroom sink (or, even a kitchen sink), look no further and get this.We live in an old house whose bathroom sink has only 1-1/2" PVCs underneath and so it gets clog easily. I "snake" and clean them out an average of 2X a year -- which is a real hassle to do.Since I use this product (at an average of about 12-14 times a year), more than a year ago - gone are the days when I have to go underneath the sink to "snake" it out.One package can last more than 2 years -- or more. And it's a breeze to use. Just do it when you're leaving the house for a trip or before you go to bed.I had recommended it to family members and friends who have the same "clogged sinks" issues and almost all of them had thanked me.Highly recommended product.

don't. buy. this. Standard liquid plumber or similar is a million times better. The instructions stated to dissolve a "scoop" in 12 oz warm water. Ok, there was no scoop. So I guessed, about 2 tablespoons maybe. It never dissolved. Literally like sand. I did it four times with varying temperatures of water. Ok, so, maybe that is what it's supposed to be like. Then, I put the slurry in the drain, trying to scoop all the little sand pebbles into the actual drain. I waited overnight, flushed with plenty of hot water, chasing the pebbles down the drain. The instructions said maybe you need to do this four times, the longer you leave it in the better. So I left it in for 24 hours and repeated three times. NOPE. No progress. Then I went to the grocery store and bought Drano. One application, done. This product is worthless.

What used to work overnight is no longer available. I ordered the K-67BAG for slow kitchen trap and drain. It did not work like the old SGP (Soap Grease Paper residues) Roebic product. There was no improvement in a week of applications, following directions. I ordered K 67BAG because Roebic changed the product I bought for years, the SGP product, and renamed it "Main Line", which also, as Mainline has no noticeable effect. I won't be buying this product as it does not appear to work in my kitchen trap nor the bathroom trap. Don't like to knock a product, but this one just did not perform at all like the old one. Your mileage may vary.
