Great Bike
I was in the marker for another bike, but in the summer of 2020 they are hard to come by as many probably know. I had a very bad rupture of my achilles two years back and had multiple surgeries. The running days may be over so I decided to seriously look into cycling since I’ve thought about it long before the achilles rupture. I knew after casually riding bikes that I wanted a hybrid.I just happen to see these available and snagged one in the few hours they were posted. My boyfriend couldn’t believe I found and bike online and bought immediately.. He was worried it would not be a god bike since it seemed too good to be true. When it came he immediately started putting it together. It only took maybe half an hour and only that long because the front wheel was slightly tricky. We took it out for a ride asap. The ride was smooth! I did feel maybe a slight wobble on the front wheel. This may have been me paranoid though since I watched him struggle with the wheel. He is going to ride it and see and take to the local bike shop if needed.Overall, fantastic little bike. At first I thought I settled on it because I had my eye on another, but after riding it was great! It felt so great to really get out there and get some exercise. It is a starter bike for me, but perfect! A good deal too with how much I spent and since we easily assembled ourselves. Best purchase I have made on Amazon in a while!

DO NOT BUY
I expected more. Pedal bent the crank threads and needed need to replace that (im well within the weight restrictions). I want buyers to be warned- customer service says they don't have my crank in stock. Its manufacturer defect but they do not have the part and are unwilling to send a workable replacement. I need to wait an undetermined amount of time for the crank that they want me to use. PS- crank on bike is not as shown or listed in specs as is the same with many other components.Ride on this bike and all components are worse than a 20 year old low end Cannondale I bought five years ago for $200. I should have went for the Tommaso at this price point, don't make the same mistake i did, try to buy and an American icon and it turns out to be a horrible experience.I've bought some items from Chinese Companies with better service and better replacement options. This company makes everything in China and dropped the ball worse than fully Chinese companies. I have less trouble ordering scooter parts straight from china.

Fantastic bike highly recommend. Customized by me.
The disc brakes are fantastic. Much smoother than pads. The gears allow you to go up the steepest Hills sitting down. Smooth shifting gears. The tires don't have big traction treads so it allows the bike to roll easier. The seat is mostly comfortable and the mounting rails are long for adjusting for anyone. I purchased a kickstand before the bike arrived and it would not work because the chain stays do not offer an opportunity to place a center Post kickstand. Instead I purchased a kickstand that mounts to the outside chain stays and it works perfectly it's a BV model. Cable stays are used throughout this bicycle it keeps the cables in line. Handlebar grips are good and shifting levers on the handlebar are easily accessed. This bike is 7.5 pounds lighter than my previous Schwinn and it is a joy to own and I would buy another. It has a racier feel to it and takes corners at a higher speed better. 4 to 8 weeks following my Vantage F2 purchase I added the following items to my Schwinn Vantage F2 bicycle:Anodized black number 5 and number 6 mounting screws with washers of varying lengths approximately $55. (Just made a big big difference instead of that bright chrome. Now you cannot even see the screws even up close they are almost invisible)Race Face Chester crank protector boots Orange $9.57.Race Face Chester pedals Orange $52.97.Retrospect adjustable saddle Orange $13.00.Sigtuna folding lock $30.98.Lumintrail 3000 front headlight with separate battery pack $63.39.Cygolite Hotshot Pro– 150 LumenBike Tail Light $35.99Mirrycle mountain handlebar mirror $16.66.BV adjustable kickstand alloy $17.54.Mirrycle bike Bell black $8.00.Tire Toro 700cX35 Orange $50.00+ pair."dpob" Handlebar Stem with combined on board computer (unavailable now under that name 03/20/20) $32.83.UDATE JUNE 5, 2020, after two years and eight months I haven’t many problems other than replacing three spokes on the rear wheel. I weigh 245 pounds so some unexpected bumps can be hard on the spokes. I took it to my bike guy thinking I had one spoke broken and he said I had three. I was kind of embarrassed. So I clean the chain with kerosene with a chain brush and use WD-40 bicycle chain lube on the chain and then wipe it dry. In between the kerosene wash and applying the WD-40 I wash down the chain and 91% isopropyl alcohol to get a good drying affect and let everything dry really well, overnight before applying WD 40 bicycle chain lube. The spoke replacements cost me $30 so that’s my total maintenance cost since the time that I have owned the bike.OCTOBER 28,2020 UPDATE FAIRNESS: When I received this bicycle in a box I took it to my bike guy and had him assemble it I think it was for 40 or $50 including tuning and whatever else but I live in the Midwest and he does this on the side from his machine shop job. I also live in the country and not in a big city. Well now I do need to have my gears tuned a little bit for the 567 and 8 so that will cost me about $35. But I will give the chain a good wash with kerosene 91% Iopropyl alcohol and WD 40 bicycle chain lube first and see what happens. 99% of the time it fixes most problems. And I have not cleaned my chain for about a couple months.UPDATE 10/27/2022: My bike man thinks I received a bad set of wheels. He has over 40 years of experience and owns his own machine shop of several tens of thousands of square feet that includes plasma laser cutters advanced CNC machines and he can even build bicycles. Since owning the bicycle we have replaced approximately 15 spokes on the rear wheel alone and approximately two on the front. He said he has a couple customers that way well over 300 pounds on bicycles that have no spark problems. so earlier this year in 2022 I purchased a pair of Bucklos carbon fiber hub straight spoke wheel sets and Continental Gatorskin tires and tubes 700 x 25C. They are essentially bald tires and they have improved the performance of the bike immensely by reducing the rolling resistance by about 25%. Also, no spoke breakage. With straight spokes it is very uncommon to break I spoke unlike J-spokes which are curved at the hub. As my bike man says, and he has no hyperbole in his vocabulary, a good set of wheels is the most beneficial improvement anyone can make to a bicycle. Therefore I downgraded my rating from a five star to a four star. Mainly because he had never seen anything like this when he had the bike shop open for 20 years.

Best disk brake bike you will find for the price.
This is a great bike so far for me, I really like the style of the bike and the grip on the handle bars are very comfortable. The gears shift great and are easy to fix if you are a newbie like me and mess them up shifting wrong haha. I have to warn you about how soft the metal is in this bike though. They pretty much used aluminum everything on this bike in order to keep it light and rust proof so be very gentle with the hardware when fastening down.

This Schwinn Bicycle sucks....
Like: Ease of Assembling, Very light. My son liked the Bicycle.Dislike: Schwinn Customer Service, Defective Crank Arm on both Left and Right Side pedals. The Aluminum Threads just came out so the Pedal fell out one by one. The Bicycle was less than a month old. I was going to repair it, but it was a somewhat costly affair and was told to wait for at least 2 weeks, So opted for a return. The Schwinn customer service is very slow in responding too. I do not know if this issue would have taken care of by them.Amazon or the Cycle importers should check the quality before selling as things from China cannot be trusted. As when compared to things manufactured in the USA. However, I will buy a similar kind from Amazon as Amazon takes care of its customers.
