I had never used a bike trainer before this. From a brief search I saw that they tend to be expensive and was nervous about buying a cheaper one, but it ended up being a great choice. First, the set-up was super easy (again, coming from someone who's never even seen a trainer before). Second, the way it folds up and ease of setting it up and tearing it down is great - I keep it in a closet and pull it out when I need it. Third, I was surprised how quiet it was after reading reviews for tons of trainers with complaints of noise. I watch movies on my dinky laptop while I ride, and while I do have to turn the volume up a lot, I can easily hear it. Lastly, I was surprised to find this came with a stand for the front wheel, which also works great.I've been using this product for about a month or two now and it has held up perfectly well and well exceeded my expectations.(Bonus points: I love that it is entirely blacked-out with no major branding on it!)

Tried it for a few minutes with a hybrid rear tire. I put it on a rubber mat. Instructions say to put it on carpet and use slick tires to reduce noise. It was too noisy for me. The higher the gear, the more noise. Tried adjusting the roller tension but didn't notice a change in the noise level.Bought a fairly slick tire called Panaracer Gravelking RF738-GK-B. That tire can be used outdoors. Hopefully the tire won't wear too fast on the trainer. Did not find many slick 700 x 38 tires. Quiet enough to use.Inexpensive for a bike trainer that you attach to your bike. Seems sturdy, stable enough, quick to set up, and offered enough resistance for me.

I have a light Schwinn touring bike with a BIG frame. It was very easy to set up the stand and mount the bike on it. With my 10 speed gears I can easily get virtually and degree of resistance that I want. The stand is very solid and well made. Delivery of the frame to my house was very fast. I feel that the price is reasonable.

I'm extremely pleased with it. I read the instructions before putting my bike on it & had no problems. I took off the off-road wheels & put on the wheels with the road tires 1st. Noise level with road tires is fine. I'm able to watch TV while riding with TV at the usual volume. It gets too hot in San Antonio Texas to ride outside in Spring & especially Summer, so I'm really glad to have this. It's also great stability now that my balance has gotten so poor since aging has not been kind to me. This is a fantastically safe way for me to exercise! It does make the bike a bit tall for me since I'm only 5'2", but a small step stool makes mounting & dismounting the bike a snap! I'm so glad I got it!!!

Sturdy. Easy to use. I got this as a Christmas gift for a friend to help them get in better shape and be healthier in the new year. In Chicago when winters are icy and cold; you can't easily ride outside. Also, my friend is stuck at a desk on overtime after work and sometimes, due to time constraints, it is tough for them to get to the gym. Instead, the bike is now set-up within 10 feet of the home office. It made exercise convenient with no excuses. My friend loves the gift and is building up strength for longer and longer rides.

I am very disappointed with this product and the customer service. This product is extremely noisy!! I could not enjoy using it with my bike due to the high noise level coming from the fly wheel. I tried adjusting the fly wheel up and down, cranking up my earphones and even placing it on a carpet to absorb some of the noise and nothing helped. I am very dissatisfied with this bike trainer. I explained the problem with the seller and requested to return the product with a prepaid shipping label. Instead of helping me with a quick return, they have asked me for pictures proving it is noisy - I can't possible show noisiness in a photograph. I have spent time going back and forth with this seller on numerous email to send me a shipping label to return the item since I am not satisfied. They will not send me the label and are giving me the runaround saying they need proof it's noisy! I'm the customer, I'm not satisfied, why do I need to prove why I'm dissatisfied? Do not buy this bike trainer. It is beyond noisy, doesn't feel very sturdy and they give you the run around if you need to return it. Super upsetting!

I have used this on my bike for a couple of months now and it will work. It is very basic in setup. I wish I could control the resistance from a controller. I do like that it is very portable. This is a good product if you need to get warmed up on a trainer before a race and you need something on location.If you are looking to have a trainer in your house for an extended period of time, I would look for something that has resistance control, and something that you could hook your apps to for record-keeping. This is more to keep your legs warmed up on the location of whatever race you are participating in.

The stand is sturdy and seems well built. The instructions weren't very descriptive but I was able to figure it out fairly easily. I did go online to find videos about how to mount the bike. They helped explain the skewer that came with the stand; there is an extra rubber piece that came with it that I can't find a use for though. It does make some noise when riding but not enough to be really annoying. Overall a good deal for the money.
