Only wear for walking or sitting to keep that joint happy while it heals along with anti inflamatories worked great for me.It can adjust to give very strong support but care must be taken with this belt with its positioning so it does not cut blood supply to hip muscles and legs. Good value and made well. Again may not work for everyones issues, only really use if a doctor has diagnosed sacro joint pain. Wear to long and it will weaken your muscles......

I was recommended this belt by my physiotherapist when I damaged my sacroiliac joint about six weeks ago. It definitely helped ease the pain and speed up my recovery, but despite the manufacturers saying it doesn't slip out of place, I find it does. And now, after five weeks of fairly constant wear (except when I'm seated, as it wouldn't stay in place at all, then) the Velcro does seem to keep unsticking itself, so it does work, but there are some problems. Of course, that may well be the case with with other belts, too, not just this brand. On the whole, I'm glad I got it. It did help.

Before this item the best back support was weirdly enough a luggage strap - wrapped twice around the body, tight and supportive but still flexible. So now, this item has the same excellent support but with one advantage the flexibility on the hips because of the elastic on the sides. Plus it is also adjustable bt the straps on the sides. Absolutely great back support, over 20 years I have tried so many different ones to help. This is the best one by far because it utilises the best bits of all meaning you can both sit and stand wearing it without it being uncomfortable.

Well, after six months I can confirm two things:1. It would be good, BUT2. After just 6 months the velcro fails and the item is useless.

I've had hip pain for few months now. I have now been diagnosed with SI joint.. I thought that I'll give this support band a chance to see what would happen.. as I work in the retail industry and I stand up all day... The support band gives me great support I can definitely feel a difference. the best thing about it is you can tighten up the sides or make the sides Looser, so you can get the fit that you want and the pressure.. definitely 5 stars

I have suffered on and off with niggling back problems since my twenties. After a friend told me about these belts I purchased one as I was suffering at that time. As soon as I started to wear it I could feel that I was being supported in the lower back area. My discomfort with pain eased by the hour. Probably one of the best purchases I've ever made.
