Great Hair Dryer. The Breaker Reset Button Takes Some Strength
I have written three reviews about this one product, changing the rating each time. I've settled on 5 stars, which was my first rating, because I really do like the product and love the green nightlight. It's a unique color and looks good in my guest bathroom, where a bit of extra light is welcome for company. I use an Andis wall-mount dryer in my own bathroom and it has done well for ten years. When I ordered this the first time, I had to return it because there were several black specks imbedded in the white plastic. The return was easy and I quickly received a replacement that worked well after it was installed. That was when I wrote the 5 star review.A month later, when a guest was going to use that bathroom, I realized the green light was out and the dryer wasn't working. Three people tried to trouble-shoot it, each of them pushing the breaker "test" and "reset" buttons, but that didn't help. The outlet worked fine with other things plugged in, so I figured it was a bad dryer. That was when I changed the 5 star review to a 1 star review.I had passed the full refund deadline but was going to to return it anyway. Before I removed it from the wall I decided to give it one more try by pushing the breaker reset button again. No luck. I had a screwdriver in my hand and decided to use it to push in on the reset button, more firmly and directly than I could do by hand. That did the trick. The green light came on and the hair dryer worked fine.I'm sorry my guest didn't get the advantage of using it, but I'm glad it's working now. I'll be more observant and see if it trips the breaker again, before I assume it's working properly for guests. Hopefully that won't happen often. If it does, I'll remember to use something other than hand power to push the buttons. With luck, this will be the last time I have to write a review of this hair dryer! It's a handy item and works well, overall.

In regard to other reviews
I originally bought this model hangup hair dryer because of the cord hanger. In all honesty, I never use the hanger. I leave my cord dangle. It actually helps to detract from the power cord that runs to the outlet. If I hang the cord, I actually feel like that just spreads out the cord mess. That may be something to consider if you are buying this model for the cord hanger. The nighlight is not as bright as some of these reviews would have you believe. If you go from having a completely dark bathroom to having this light, you will notice the room is much brighter at night, but the light is no brighter than any other night light. You will need the right size allen wrench to switch the dryer from 1200W to 1600W as this does not come with the dryer.I had no problems with the screw length for mounting as others have stated, so they may have fixed that problem. This dryer is much quiter than my previous dryer which was an 1875W regular handheld model. It's not silent, but it is quieter than any dryer I've owned.Even though this and other wall mounted dryers have lower wattage, I don't notice a significate increase in drying time (maybe a minute or two). I actually prefer the lower wattage now because I'm not blasting my hair (or scalp!) with heat which tended to cause split ends and fry my hair after continued use (I don't curl or use a flat iron, so the difference is purely a result of the hair dryers). Also, once I finish blow drying, my hair looks like it will for the rest of the day (an moderate amount of volume), whereas with the 1875W dryer, my hair would be a pouf ball first thing in the morning and gradually flatten to my head by the end of the day.Other notes: The dryer itself is a medium size. I like that it's not one of the tiny ones because I feel like it's not flimsy and weak (even if smaller ones really aren't). It's also not as big and heavy as full sized dryers, so I find that I move it around much more and get more even drying.

Works great, and you always know where to find it!
I first discovered this hair dryer in the bath in a hotel I stayed at. Before I bought my first one, I used my wife's hair dryer and I sometimes had to find it wherever she used it last. Bought the Andis, problem solved.I bought the first one quite while back, before 2010 but not sure of exact year. It is the only wall mount hair dryer I have found that had a cord hanger. That way the cord is not dangling and in the way when you are not using it. It also had a nightlight, which was a great feature. You can also store the excess length of the plug cord behind the unit when you mount it on the wall. When the nightlight bulb went out on the first unit, I bought a second one. Unfortunately the new unit (bought in early 2014) had an LED "nightlight" practically bright enough to read by. Needless to say, I unplug the dryer after each time I use it. At some point the on/off switch broke off, but since I always unplug it when done drying my hair, not a problem. Also, when you mount the dryer into the holder mounted on the wall, there is a rocker switch there that cuts off the power.November 2019, the second unit is starting to make a noise, telling me the bearings in the motor were going. I got almost 7 years out of that unit. I bought this new unit that is the same model as the last one, again a too bright night light, but I love that I can find it right where I left it the last time I used it. And it works great for drying my hair!
