1. Sure, the roast date was couple days before I received it. However, I can tell how fresh roasted beans smell. The aroma was amazing with NO bitterness at all.2. Came earlier than expected. 2 days after I ordered it. This is my 5th bag already.3. I use a chemex to brew my coffee. I preheat the chemex with plain water over the electric stove while I get everything ready.I love the clean cup you get. It's such an amazing balance. I rinse the paper filter under hot tap water generously to eliminate any paper taste in my coffee. I grind my beans mid coarse. Brew at 200 degrees Fahrenheit. I use a 30 grams of freshly grounded coffee to 490ml of brita filtered tap water. Kettle maintains 200 degrees temp throughout the entire brew. I bloom the coffee slowly for approximately 45 seconds after I finish pouring. I brew by using the rest of the water in 2 separate pours. Rid the spent beans and filter. Stir and enjoy. It's delicious every time. If you want a stronger coffee taste then I recommend grinding your beans in a fine to very light coarse grind size. It will take a little longer to brew but will have that strong coffee taste and aroma.

This coffee was delivered 2 days after roasted date sonics is really fresh. I use a French press to make this coffee. Flavor is bold and clean. This coffee is really good. Price is a bit high but the quality of the roast and the freshness is tops. Worth the price.

Ground and brewed - nice choco-nutty taste and brewed without acidic after taste. Drank both as an espresso and a machiato. recommended!

We were introduced to this coffee brand in San Fran about 10 years ago. Ever since, it's been one of our top go-to brands when we want to splurge on "good coffee". This coffee was the reason we bought a pour-over set, gooseneck kettle, and a burr grinder! Still in love after 10 years! And this comes directly from Equator!

the coffee beans are fresh it only took two days to deliver after roasted. It tastes so smooth and creamy. I tried it the first time with the Trade coffee subscription and I'm very happy to find it on Amazon. I used Breville Espresso machine and it tastes so good, highly recommended

It’s my favorite coffee and blend. Buy in store all the time. This was horrible. I was afraid something had gotten in the bag. Looked at date, it was Early November, 4th I think. Not good! Don’t know if it was rejects, or seller sloughing off old coffee in us, or sitting it Amazon warehouse too long. Never buying again.

We drink this coffee everyday and have been ordering the Equator Blend in whole beans from Amazon as its delivery is fast and reliable. The coffee is always packed nicely in its original Equator box. We like this coffee as it has an aroma that’s not too overwhelming and it’s very soothing as the first cup of coffee in the morning. Highly recommend it if you like medium or medium-dark roast!
