The sound is good, better than the hm5's. BUT Broke in the first hour - sizing clip - also not real leather and not memory foam. Purchased in preorder from Brainwavz. They require returns to Hong Kong and you have to pay shipping on warranty returns. Buy at your own risk, never again Brainwavz

The HM5's changed my life. After YEARS I was hoping this would repeat that event. Nope. Treble murder. Some aspects of the build are beautiful. The headband on top looks so nice. Is soft. But the sliders and hinge that other report breaking seems like they ... will break. The pads.. ON BRAINWAVZ HEADPHONES .. .are not memory foam. The cable is amazingly well made. The extra cable is nice. The wood is OK but not really wood enough to qualify. The hinges on the sides are too stiff. A bit wider and bassier than the HM5. Case is also massive. Cannot really recommend. 3 stars out of pity.

Broken as arrived - the left sizing clip -
Purchased in preorder from Brainwavz as the guy above, just got it delivered today, and well... the left sizing clip is broken, soo I think it's factory defect. It's just going up and down as it likes.

Great sound dodgy build
Had two of these over the last year , both had the same floppy size adjustment that wouldnt stay in the same place.Sound is great and noise isolation was one of the best if not best i have had (better than DT770 & DT1770.Comfort was great , could easily wear them for several hours.They are big so wouldnt be my first choice when walking the dog .Sold the 1st pair because of the size adjuster problem then bought another pair 6 months later but that had exactly the same problem , same side as well.They are not going to be fighting it out with pemium £300+ headphones , but for less than £100 they are worth a try.
