Exceed my expectations!
I purchased this product so that we didn't have to run DMX cable from the light controller to our LED lights both at church & at my TV studio. Because of the price I was a bit skeptical but I thought I'd give it a shot. I must say that this product is outstanding! We just used it for our church's Palm Sunday service and they worked flawlessly! There's about 70 feet from the light controller to the first wireless receiver. We bought a total of 3 receivers for our church to try out but we have just ordered another 3 as we're so pleased with them. Our stage is about 40 feet wide by 30 feet deep so we are grouping our lights by 3 or 4 with each group starting with a wireless receiver. And because there's no need for long DMX cable runs, we're putting 2 LEDs in the drum cage. They have also been working great at my TV studio where the light controller is in a room closed off to the studio but the transmitter & receiver have worked perfectly. This is a great product that has exceeded my expectations. The setup couldn't be simpler. It literally takes about a second for the devices to start communicating with one another. And it's a lot less work setting up various lighting scenarios in pretty much any location where you have power. All without having to run DMX cable!

Plug and play
I used this the first time and it was literally plug and play. The instructions were in too small a print to be used, thankfully it just worked and worked well with two Gigbar 2 fixtures.

Works perfectly... After you follow the instructions!
I recently bought two transmitters and three receivers to eliminate my long DMX cable runs at concerts. (I already have a DMX splitter that I use for all of my stage sends). When I first tried to use these, they did not work for me, and I had to quickly lay down some DMX cables to make the show work. But after the event, I more carefully read the instructions. Two things that threw me for a loop were: one you MUST power up your transmitter(s) BEFORE turning on the receivers. Otherwise it doesn't matter what color channel you are using. Two, the LED indicating the wireless channel very quickly turns to flashing red (transmitting) or flashing green (receiving), As a result, I would avoid those colors (unless you need all seven universes) to simplify troubleshooting. The Channel color is pretty brief when you power it on and or use the pin hole button to change channels. But once you understand these two things, they work GREAT and save laying a lot of long DMX cable runs.

Excellent little wireless DMX cable replacements.
Donner seems to be a very popular brand for DMX stuff on Amazon, so I wanted to give them a try, but not pay a large price, so I looked around. Purchased this pair and they have performed well. I have used them about a dozen times for 6+ hours at a time and they have held up. I don't really see any delay in the controls compared to a DMX cable. No interference with my wireless network tablets or sound board or laptops. All in all, they work well and have no complaints other than I wish they had a better way to get power to them, but I don't really see how.

Works as expected
Plugged the receiver end into my dimmer rack, plugged the transmitter into my light board, set the dimmer to receive DMX, and everything works. There is 0 delay at about 120 ft.Will occasionally lose signal and black out, not a good choice for something mission critical.

Good value but tricky to get right
The media could not be loaded. Getting the link is the hard part and sometimes they flicker at a distance, but they do, mostly what they say on the box and work great.

Awesome variation to running cables from controller.
I was skeptical about these at first because of the price point, but there was a lot of good reviews so I decided to take a chance. My concern was that I was not sure of the transmission rate and if there would be a lag on the DMX signal . I created a ‘line of site’ so there would be no issues with trying to penetrate walls, crouds of people and things like that and put them to use. I have to say that I was surprised that there was no noticeable delay. It might be measured in milliseconds, but that’s not enough to screw up any lightshow. I think this would work in any small venue and possibly larger ones although they usually have much larger budgets than things like I am involved in. Just be aware that these particular ones need to have power to both the transmitter and receiver. (There are battery versions of these available if needed.) Also it doesn’t hurt to be creative and remember that it doesn’t have to be plugged directly into a light or even a splitter. You can make a line of site by plugging it into a cable dangling somewhere close to your rig to make the line of site. I don’t know how much penetration you will get in crouds and walls so maybe if these people on the other negative reviews would transmit over the crouds or place the receiver prior to a thick wall, it would work better for them and would not be much more work. Just think before you do and don’t be afraid to ask questions if you don’t understand something. Good luck with your shows and remember to have fun!

Besides dying after 5 minutes, there's a design flaw
The design flaw is when you plug the receiver into the fixture the power plug is in the way of the xlr out plug so they both can't be plugged in at the same time. The fix was plugging the receiver into a short dmx cable, that worked. I fired up the lights, and it worked. I was worried about latency but it was fairly minimal, certainly not the same and as a cable connection. A short while later I observed the lights blinking but not in a good way. The blackout still worked, changing to different light programs still worked however I was concerned this was going to mess up my fixture so I switched back to a dmx cable. The lights we're still doing the same thing, so I powered them down so they could recalibrate and then they were fine. I'm using this on Martin Wizards, so for me this thing is unreliable junk so I returned it. The search continues, there has to be a good one out there somewhere
