Brother DCP-T710W Inktank Refill System Printer with Wi-Fi and Automatic Document Feeder Printing

Purchased this printer on prime day at an unbelievable deal - 10,360/- ......Icing on cake, No Cost EMI. :-)I had researched many ADF printers earlier and none were below 15K. Even this printer was 14.5K.I compared all parameters and zeroed down on Epson and Brother.Epson with ADF feature was working out to 18K !!I eventually realised that the Brother printer offered all which that i needed.The only thing holding me were the -ve reviews about the print quality.I looked up a few you tube videos and realised the prints were pretty good if not the best.When i saw the pricing on prime day, wasted no time in purchasing the machine!Setting up the printer was absolutely simple and went on pretty smooth. However the installation guy did comeover to give a demo and explained some fine points which were helpful.I tried printing and scanning using the brother app from android, from the laptop in wireless mode - Wifi Direct and through router.ADF too works pretty good and print speed is remarkably faster in comparision to canon.The print quality is good though it could be better, but it works for my requirements of basic printing.I have used it for 5 days now and find it to be an absolutely great machine.Highly recommended!👍

Works like a charm.1. Online reviews saying that print quality is not good may be paid reviews. If you want to save cost and get things done....Indian style for example Xerox of court case papers and school project work, its excellent. Very easy setup.2. Thank god it has Automatic document feeder. Imagine the pain of opening the scanner lid all the time for multiple page photocopies.3. ADF also works fast and no complaints of paper jams etc. I even used very old papers of 70 gsm and no problems at all but do not use 70 gsm quality paper for color prints or color xerox. For color prints, it is advised to use min 100 gsm paper. It printed like a state of the art color lazer jet.4. PRINT QUALITY: Normal mode is best however I tried using "FINE" quality option using iprint mobile android app and oh boy !! The coloured print using fine quality was simply awesome on 100 gsm paper. I was getting tempted to get the picture framed. Imagine the quality I would have got had I used the 200 gsm.5. Remember, maximum paper quality allowed to be used is 230 GSM as per FAQs section on Amazon.6. Online product registration process on Brother website is very easy.7. Select 2 year extended warranty plan for a total of 3 year peace of mind.Gud luck !!

Advantages:* Ink tank printer - no worries of empty cartridges and very expensive refills* Bonus additional black ink free provided with the printer* Printing on both sides option available - but manual* Wifi - no wire clutter* Auto feed scan of multiple papersNegatives:* Bulky* Very plasticky - could be built a bit stronger* Feed tray capacity is small. Manual turnover for two side printing involves removing paper tray cartridge completely out and place the one side printed paper face down which is a bit messy. There could be a manual feed tray at the back where papers can be directly fed for 2nd side printing

After two months this review is written.DCP-T710W is an all-rounder of printers.1. Photo printing of ID photos was superb. Set to best quality and photo sheet for good results.2. Manual duplex is working fine.3. Set to greyscale for better black instead of color - for black and white.4. Fan the papers in the tray before trying manual duplex, as it picks double the sheets instead of one - sometimes. Maybe I am using lesser GSM paper. Will update later5. Buy a good cover to prevent dust accumulation.6. Scan results are fabulous. 600x600 is really very clear -- we can go upto 1200x2400 dpi.Both copy and scan at upto 1200x2400 dpi7. Found printing a black and white page to be faster than copying it.8. Same page ID photo is not coming side by side in landscape -- will have to try again.9. Installation and demo was done thoroughly by service engineer. Thanks.10. Had to go outstation for a month -- was worried about ink drying but worked fine.11. So many features are still to be tried, I have given the majors ones I tried.12. Two black ink bottles given along with 3 color inks. A good thought, as most jobs are B&W.Cons:1. Double sheets getting picked during manual duplex. Maybe 80 gsm will work better, I used 70 gsm.2. Fragile top cover, handle with care while scan or copy.5 🌟 for the price vs features.I got it for during Big Sale in October.

Print outs are not clear, letters are smudged. Color prints also are coming out with poor quality. I printed two pages of a legal form and attached to the remaining pages and the difference is just too obvious. I am extremely disappointed as I paid full money and ordered this not in any sale price etc., Please find the difference in prinout quality of the same page taken with this printer and another proper printer. As you can see the print out is very greyish in colour and cannot be used for any official purposes. Quality is poor and not adequate.

Perfect printer for home use. I can scan multiple pages, using document feeder - no need to open flap, place paper and hit scan again and again.Print quality is very good.Copier works perfect. Now I go to copier shop only if I need to make copy of a text book (if I spend some time, don't have to).Ink usage is very less. The wireless feature works best, I print from my laptop, my mobile from anywhere in the house.The software is big size to download but once done..is very smooth.Happy to choose this printer after a long research.
