Excellent Quality Happy Kettle
I decided to buy a kettle for our gas hob as we needed a new one and I am looking to save electricity. This kettle is lovely, looks very high quality and feels it too, solid, nice to look at and functions as it should. The lid isn't too stiff either and the handle stays cool. Way better than some of the cheaper ones as its nice and robust. Most of all though I just love the whistle, makes me smile when I'm making our morning coffee.

Great looking kettle but ...
Firstly, the kettle looks great which is why I brough it.Unfortunately, the insulated handle doesn't extend far enough forward in order to be able to work the spout trigger without burning your finger.Arranged a return for a refund which was agreed in seconds, easy, seamless & free. Full refund was in my account within 24hrs., outstanding service even though the product wasn't for us

Whistling Kettle
I love my whistling kettle. It's really loud enough to wake the dead! It's sturdy, has a nice finish with brushed and polished metal. Much bigger than I expected as well. I love it.

Kettle - rounded base!
The Bottom of the kettle just was not flat - so had to return it - (see photos) may have been ok on a Gas but no good for my Induction hob! - a shame because it is a nice looking kettle and seemed well made.

Scratched in 2 places on Arrival
Had high hopes for this kettle as it looked good and of good quality, but on arrival the lid was at the side of the kettle in the box not on the kettle and this put a scratch on the side. There was also a scratch on the top side of the spout. For these 2 reasons I sent it back and got a full refund and my postage too. It does say on return label that they will not refund postage, but if the item is faulty then they have to refund postage too because the item is not as it is advertised on Amazon. I.E it doesn't advertise that it is faulty or scratched. I would like to re-order this kettle as we really liked it but didn't want to take the chance of getting another scratched item.
