Dropped right in. No problem. My old one was the original and probably been in the typewriter since it was new in the 1980s. And the letters weren’t as crisp as they should be.

Didn't think I would find a new printwheel for this older model typewriter. So glad I did. Love using the older model typewriter. Purchased newer model for office when the IBM printwheel broke and hate it. We were so glad to find this older model printwheel so now we have our old typewriter back up and running. It's great to know that some companies still carry older model parts. The service on Amazon was good.

It came in perfect condition and I have used an IBM Printwheel 1000 for years and I would not want to use any other typewriter. We own an auto auction and it is perfect for typing titles, error affidavits, anything you need to type in a hurry and is not practical for a computer.

im so happy we were able to find this for our typewriter. the old cartridge had some knicks & chips and letters/numbers didn't type correctly. boss wasnt really thrilled to spend over $70.00 a the printwheel but for as little as we use the typewriter, it will last forever now.

Love the ease of replacing the broken part. So glad we could find it. In my job there are things that can't be done on a computer and I have to have my typewriter.
