Robust and Proven Durable
Ordered and fitted June 19, review updated Jan 21 - moved 4 to 5*I selected this tap to replace a Brita that had just about fallen apart into its constituent bits. Brita taps are hopeless, lasting about 2 years before falling apart - we've had 3, and never will there be a 4th! Good selection, the Arputhy! The Arputhy looks like it's meant to survive a nuclear blast whilst also looking good. The lever and rotate action on the mixer side is very easy and puts no sideways stress on the unit, unlike the Brita system we had. After more than 18 months in use it still looks good as new and works without difficulty. It took our plumber a bit of time to sort it all out with adapters but got there in about an hour. The Arputhy filtered water is on a direct mains pressure feed, unlike the Brita. This is important to know because Brita P1000 filters are stressed to 5 Bar, but our mains pressure to the house is 6.5Bar. That's no issue as long as you know and have the plumber fit a Pressure Reduction Valve near the stop cock to reduce pressure to a sensible level (we've set 4 Bar, which means taps etc work well upstairs without noticeable loss of flow) whether the taps are flowing or not. NB, it's a pressure reduction device we've fitted, not a flow restrictor.Oh, and don't bother phoning Brita for help; I did and got nowhere. To find out what their P1000 filters are stressed to I had to go to Plumbase, where the chap there looked it up in 5 seconds; Brita refused to say anything except their filters are only tested on their own taps. Useless!

Robust piece of kit
This is a robust tap set and is well built, strong and stands out at the sink. it is easy to use and has all the function we needed. It is great value for money and does the job as well as or better than the tap set that it replaced. I can't see this needing replacing for many many years un like the expensive (less then 25% of the price) named brand that it replaced.

Good if you get one with correct parts
The first one we received had the wrong sized mounting tube and could not be screwed into the tap!!! Tube 35mm and tap thread about 45 to 50mm. We returned it and decided to order a second in case we were just unlucky (the other reviews we so positive) and this time the parts were correct. The supplied mounting tube being wider at the top. The tap itself is great, well made with a proper screw thread fitting (not a daft ‘horseshoe’ fitting). That said the threads on the water pickups (BSP end) seem to be slightly the wrong thread and so are difficult to tighten in some case and the 1/4” water filter adapter wouldn’t tighten enough to stop leaks - again the threads didn’t seem to be quite right. I had to use the line from our old tap which had a much better brass adapter. So I’ve given it 4 stars but if I could it would be 3.5.

Better than expected for the price
This is a really nice quality tap and we're pleased with it. We didn't expect much for the price Vs other options but it's well built, comes in a brown box, nothing fancy but it's easy to fit. Took me far longer to get the old tap off (one of those stupid "easy fit" taps). We initially had an issue, the water would keep stopping when the hot tap was turned on like a valve was closing. It turns out the pipes that come with this arent compatible with the little plastic water rate limiter inserts they were fitted in the ends of our cut off valves.I pulled the little plastic limiters out with a screw driver and everything is perfect now.

Worst Tri Flow I've Ever Fitted
I've been fitting tri flow taps for 10 years. This thing was an absolute nightmare. The hoses are the worst quality and it's near impossible to fit 3 hoses through the tiny locking nut that comes with it. Terrible design. It was installed for two days and began leaking quite heavily at the metal moulded base. This has caused a lot of damage in my customers kitchen. Legal action will now be taken. Rubbish. DO NOT BUY

Simply a superb tap.
Had a new black onyx sink fitted and was looking for a tap to complement the sink and allow for filtered water in addition to the usual hot and cold..My previous sink had a separate filtered water tap which was OK, but untidy.I looked at many taps including taps costing almost ten time the price of this one, very few came close,I have to say this particular tap is superb. It is exceptionally well made, great quality and easy to install. The chrome is very good and the tap its self is a joy to use.Communication from the seller was first class.I cannot fault it in any way.I am an extremely happy customer!

Great value tap and easy to install
A sturdy, strong great looking tap. We bought this as a replacement for a leaking old tap. We already had the water filter in place as we have a water softener. It took us less than one hour to install. All parts were included and were a great fit. Would highly recommend.

Backnut is a non-standard size
I have installed this in restricted space, not wanting to remove the sink. Box spanners are available for a 32mm backnut, but the nut supplied with this tap is too big.Otherwise the quality is good and it includes adapters to connect the flexible filter input to 1/4" or 3/8" feed tube.
