Kingston BrassKS1270PLBS Heritage Bridge Kitchen Faucet, 8-9/16" in Spout Reach, Matte Black

This is a beautiful faucet. We are doing a remodel in our kitchen with new granite and Blanco Anthracite Silgranite sink. We chose this product because of the sturdiness and quality of Kingston Brass. We did have issues with the first order. The handles were not parallel, the stems were not long enough to connect to the hot and cold lines and we had a leak. Amazon responded incredibly quickly with a new unit. The one pictured is simply gorgeous and very well made. We did have a professional plumber install. The stems still require an adapter to reach the water lines through the thick granite, but all works well. There are no leaks, the polished brass shines like crazy, the sprayer is very heavy and has great pressure along with the faucet. We also chose a Kingston Brass garbage disposal flange. The flange is solid brass and fits perfectly. The faucets work smoothly and the water flow is excellent even with the flow restrictor installed. All fittings are heavy solid brass. I don’t mind the black plastic handle on the sprayer because it can get hot. It also matches well with the kitchen. People who have seen our kitchen gave us many compliments on the beauty of this faucet. I personally do not like the pull down faucets as I find the bridge faucet much easier to use. I highly recommend this faucet and would buy again on another remodel.

I was hesitant because I had never heard of this brand before and was replacing a very well-known brand. It was easy to install. The hard part was getting the 17yr old faucet removed.I was hoping to be able to do it myself but I simply did not have the hand strength, even with tools, to get the old rusted nuts off.We did have to go purchase two longer hoses but that's because of the way that it's set up underneath my sink and how deep my sink is.The faucet does make a bit of a squealing sound but I believe that's due to the aerator. You get used to it.The hand sprayer is solid metal and has a good weight to it. Not flimsy or cheap feeling.I was a little concerned about the highly polished finish getting scratches but so far, so good.

I am writing this review after 6 months of use, as I wanted to see how the brass finish and seals performed. I am an Engineer and had my doubts and figured I would be sending this fixture back upon receipt, however I was pleasantly surprised when I received it after inspecting it in detail. Fnish perfect, swivel spout precision (no slop), faucet handles excellent, side-sprayer could have been all brass in lieu of the pastic trigger. This unit is a great buy for the money and looks fabulous with our white marble kitchen. I highly recommend!

Love the design, but be sure to face the label to the back not the front when installing. The handles are loose would be better if they were firm in place, but they do not tighten up any more so they have give on them. It will do for the next few years I figure and then will replace it.

They need to tell you in the instructions that there is a front and a back to this faucet and the brand name should, counter-intuitively, be on the back. Having said this, it is a great, heavyweight faucet. Our plumber put it in backwards saying that the brand name is always on the front. He then put the handles in backwards to compensate but they faced in rather than out when off. We turned it around with the brand name on the back and turned the knobs around. Now all is correct. Wish the instructions were more clear but happy with it and hope it lasts longer than a lighter weigh we got about nine years ago. It literally corroded through.

I purchased this to replace the identical faucet that I had for 9 years. First mistake. The faucet will not stop dripping & the only thing Kingston will do is replace the hot & cold water stems. My plumber has replaced these TWICE and it still drips, so there is something faulty with the faucet. I'm out $$ for plumbing service calls & they just say return the faucet to Amazon. If they had a decent product, they would send a new faucet & let me return this one to them. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Bought the brush nickel and very pleased with the outcome. Appears to be very solid and plenty of water pressure. I can’t comment on the install as I had a plumber friend do the install.

overall I really like the looks, is very heavy weight, and well made. Pleased.Only thing that might be worth taking note of, if that the sprayer hose gets VERY hot if you are using Hot water, it is all metal and it really heats up.
