Very-much like an aromatic, "green" fougère (based on oakmoss-tonka-lavender)-- and, honestly, I don't think I've ever smelt one done better than this! I don't say that lightly: I have dozens of examples in my personal collection, and this one tops them all! Immediately upon application of this attar, a heady mix of superbly-blended herbs hits the nose, balanced and sharpened by peels of sour, green fruits- such as unripe orange and walnut-hulls- Exquisite! As well, judicious florals (frangipani, ylang ylang) and ripe fruits are in the heart at only a whisper-level to add "warmth" and just a touch of sweetness; the oakmoss-dominated base is modified and made quite complex and forest-like with galbanum, vetiver, musk, and sandalwood. Very-impressive blend- (and if you like this one, also try 'Naeem').

This is a bit feminine and felt somehow too strong and overpowering for me.

I was passing through Dubai on my way to the USA. I stopped at the Mall and purchased this oil cologne. I took my flight which was 15 hours. I was complemented at least 15 times on the Airplane. I went through customs this was the first thing the TSA personnel smell. I then went home again this was the first thing my wife smell, after 24 hours of travelling. This is by far the best cologne I ever use. I always get compliments and the smell is original unlike any other cologne that I ever worn. This has earned a permanent place in my bag of goodies.

Quiet strong scent. Has a dominant note of what feels like mint or basil, or maybe it's the Ylang Ylang mentioned in the description.Good sillage and longevity. I liked this fragrance. Comes in a beautiful clear glass flacon with metal screw cap.
