Balega Blister Resist Quarter Socks blend mohair and synthetic Drynamix for the ultimate in blister prevention. The combination of fibers, and the seamless construction of the sock create a frictionless environment where feet are cool, dry, and protected. Drynamix—a synthetic high-performance yarn—wicks moisture away from the skin, while ultra-soft mohair—a trusted natural fiber for sensitive skin—minimizes irritation and regulates temperature in all seasons. Constructed to support feet during runs, hikes, athletic pursuits, travel, and daily wear, the socks feature a wide arch band and microfiber mesh ventilation panels that provide enhanced comfort and support, prevent pressure marks on the top of the foot, and promote circulation. A hand-linked seamless toe, and extra deep heel pocket ensure second-skin fit, while an elastic rib quarter top grip keeps out dirt and grime and prevents socks from slipping into running shoes and hiking boots. Balega Blister Resist Quarter Socks feature medium-volume cushioning that encloses and protects feet, creating a comfortable barrier between skin and shoe, and a reinforced heel and toe for exceptional durability. All Balega socks are race tested, and individual pairs are washed and inspected prior to shipping. Sold as a pair.

Best Socks for Running
Balega are hands down the best socks for running. I always wear them if I’m running anything more than a 5k and never have I ever gotten a single blister. So they definitely perform like they’re supposed to. My first pair I’ve had for 3 years and they continue to hold up well. Very durable. Fit is perfect.

Great for distance runs
I bought these for my husband who is a distance runner. He says they're the best running socks he's ever used. They launder well. My runner reports the socks are super comfortable and really do protect his feet on his 10-mile runs. They cost more than some, less than others. He has other Balega socks that have lasted for years, so I am optimistic these will be durable. Love the wool content.

Great product for preventing blisters from running
Great product. Not inexpensive but worth the money if you have issues with blistering from running/walking. I would repeatedly get blisters on the front of my feet until I started using these. Now I can run with comfort and no hot feet or blistering.

Get holes in toes very easily
I have worn Balega socks for almost a decade and I used to sing their praises, but the last two years the product quality has dropped significantly. I have Balega socks from eight years ago still in great shape but ALL the Balega socks I've purchased in the last two years have developed holes in the toe within three months. I LOVE the way they feel at first but I've had to sew the holes on every single pair. So the product quality has dropped significantly while the price has increased sharply. I'm going to have to find a new brand which is a damned shame because I loved my Balegas.

Better than Darn-toughs
1500 miles on them, with a hand wash every 200 miles. Anti-bacterial socks are a must for the trial. Starting to pile on the heel. More cushion on bottom than darn toughs. Now I use no shows, instead of quarters. There's nothing to bump you ankles on for trail hiking.

Great if You Don't Care What they Look Like
Running a few thousand miles a year, I've tried all kinds of socks. These taller Balegas are a great alternative to traditional tab socks for not getting pulled down into your shoes. The material feels great, is great at not absorbing sweat or rain water to weigh you down, and has oodles of cushion. Three downsides for me: price, but you can decide how much you want to spend; the insides are "fuzzy" with numerous strings dangling in the socks, but they don't really cause any problems; and the biggest downside for me is the outsides fuzz up and entangle fuzz from other items in my dryer, making the socks look ratty after just the first wash.
