I like to use pencil to make notes in my recipe books. The Sumo grip has the fattest, most comfortable grip of any mechanical pencil I can find. I keep one in my kitchen drawer to use for notes. So far, I am very pleased. I also love the very large, retractable eraser!

When my last pencil died I had thought to go to your local large box store to replace it, but no! They only had the small skinny pencils for sale! It was already devastating enough that I had been required to part with my pencil of 5+ years, never mind that I couldn't find one larger pencil!I cannot describe my relief at finding the Sakura SumoGrip pencil. It fits in my hand well and is quite comfortable to write with. I usually have hand pain when I write with smaller pencils but this one allows me to write for quite some time without facing fatigue and pain. I do a lot of writing and note-taking (aspiring teacher here). The color has grown on me too and being so bright I haven't lost it yet!Definitely worth the money and will be buying it again!

I take apart a lot of my things and put them back together but this one i couldn't put back together but it still is my favorite pencil and will be buying another one! Amazing for long note taking sessions because it's so comfortable and it's big enough so i never loose it which is a big plus for me.

I really like this sumo mechanical pencil. It's solid it's sturdy and it works great. I make my own quilt designs on graph paper and this is the perfect pencil for that task. I highly recommend it

What a great value and it’s so comfortable for my sausage fingers. The eraser is a lot bigger than your usual mechanical pencil erasers.
