Works Great On Thornless Honey Locust Suckers
I just had a thornless honey locust cut down and its stump ground. The tree guy told me that I would not have to worry about the remaining stump and roots shooting out suckers so I had the stump ground on the same day as the tree was cut. For alanthus trees and cottonwood trees, a stump herbicide needs to be applied to the new stump and permitted to sit for up to 30 days before the stump is ground. Anyway, the honey locust started to send up suckers from both the stump remnant and a few large roots that breached the ground within a few weeks of the tree being cut down. This herbicide killed all the suckers permanently after 2 applications. I just squirted the herbicide directly on the green leafy canopy of the suckers without cutting their tiny stems (stem cutting is suggested in the directions for use) and the suckers withered away completely after the 2nd application, and I did not see any new suckers after that for the balance of the growing season. I imagine if I had let them get bigger and there was a thicker stem/trunk to cut, there would be a need to follow that cutting instruction first.

Good product .
Does what it is supposed to do but it affected the surrounding vegetation much more than I expected even though I used it very sparingly. Cutting off the small tree stems and spraying only the top and a small area around. Doing this one buy one with many invasive species.Be careful with it.

Super easy and it works
I had a tree growing under my house that I was told I needed to get rid of before it started doing damage. I was putting it off, 1 because I really loved the look and shade it provided but 2 because the process of removing was such a daunting task. Most tree stump/root killers took a lot of steps.. drilling holes, multiple applications, followed by burning the stump?!! No thank you, not that close to my house. Found this and it actually sounded too good too be true but had good reviews so took a chance.I literally just used my multi tool and made some small cuts into the truck, dumped this solution on the cuts and walked away. It's only been a few weeks but sure enough the leaves are starting to turn brown indicating its dying. I'll eventually cut it down but wanted the proof it was working before I did. Pictures show how much it's browning already.I just wish it was sold in a tiny bottle because I barely used any of it but still at $26 it was much cheaper than any professional removal service I could have found. Well worth it

Perfection in a plastic bottle.
I have lived in my current home for 6 years. Before me, someone decided it would be a good idea to bring in an invasive species of Empress tree. The tree spreads by seed, or sprouts from roots that have breached the surface. It horrible. I had 50+ come up in the yard last year they wouldn't go away. They're fast growing, reaching 2 - 3 feet in between mowings. I finally found Tordon tree killer. One spray on a leaf kills a tree 3 feet tall. I can't wait to inject in to the 3 50' trees growing in the bottom of my property. Good bye, headache.

Works on Tree of Heaven/Hell
Works on Tree of Heaven, which one of the hardest trees to kill based upon how it propagates. Used it in the fall, drilled several holes in a downward diagonal fashion in the trunk around the tree and poured the poison in. Within a few days you could see it taking effect and within 2 weeks it was DEAD. No runners at all. We waited a few months to take it down because it was probably about 24 inches in circumference. Had a friend take it to a pit in his property, didn’t want to burn or use the wood just in case. We had to have it delivered toa friend’s house in MD because they won’t deliver to DC (and several other places) but I read an academic article that while they generally don’t recommend using chemical methods, tree of heaven was the one exception and THIS was the chemical recommended to take down this scourge, which by the way, attracts invasive and destructive lantern flies. So you may have to be creative if you need this, but I HIGHLY recommend it.

Worked too well
Sadly, works well. I’m afraid and not certain of this. But, it maybe killed 2 established (3 year old) trees ?? I applied around the fence line- trees were on opposite side- killed the weeds and grass all along the fence line for sure. I made certain not to get in the area of the base of the trees, but maybe it spread? Maybe the neighbor had put something on them? It’s very heartbreaking bc one was our state tree!
