LG Electronics 6750C-0005P Refrigerator Overload C

This overload protector and a PTC starter seem to be the failing parts for a Magic Chef 10 yr old beverag cooler. The cooler was clicking, not starting the compressor motor and not cooling down. After replacing the over-load with this part and the PTC starter relay from another supplier the unit started correctly, was drawing less than 2 Amps and cooling efficiently . I lucked out. Finding a new cooler to fit in my cabinet space, looks as nice as this one, and holds as many beer and wine bottles was not looking to be easy. I'm glad to be able to find the right replacement parts and get them in less than a week. Nice to not put this cooler in a landfill.

Bought this along with a compressor relay to fix a Magic Chef wine fridge that wasn't maintaining its temp settings. After replacing both the relay and this overload compressor and now the fridge is maintaining its temp settings once again.

Don’t throw your refrigerator away! By this an expensive part, install it, and enjoy your ice cold beers just like I do! I knew I didn’t need to go buy a new refrigerator! I just googled why did my refrigerator stopped cooling and it said go on Amazon and purchased this cheap part, not cheap but inexpensive part! Don’t be afraid find yourself a YouTube video and change it!

Just what I needed and works great and fits perfectly.

My parents LG refrigerator and freezer had stopped cooling completely and we could hear a clicking sound which led us to believe that the compressor was not starting and that we needed to replace the start relay or the capacitor. When I tried to look up the start relay I could not find anything that looked correct ( I was looking for the original piece with slots for the capacitor to plug into). After reading many reviews on multiple sites I realized that LG had changed the start relay so instead of getting the old piece you need to order this Overlay and the start relay LG Electronics 6748C-0004D Refrigerator Start Relay (also on amazon). The two pieces fit together to replace the original 3 pin start relay on the LG LFC23760 and also once you get these pieces you no longer need a capacitor.That last confusing thing was figuring out where the plugs in the back go as now there are 3 slots and the original had only 2 slots. I found a review online which said " Replaced the start relay and overload. I had only a blue wire and black, no pink. I put the black wire on the relay terminal toward the inside of fridge. Was easily installed, and stopped working two and half weeks, purchased a new on from the manufacturer, was pricey and the fridge is working fine now

I read a few reviews and it stated to replace this part in conjunction with the starter switch for a non starting compressor on my LG Magic Chef. The parts arrived within 18 hours from ordering and it fixed the fridge. All in all I spent 19 bucks.Best money I have spent in a long time! Thank you Amazon!

Yes it was cheap n easy to install but unfortunately it is defective not working waste of time and money
