Very happy with the purchase
Very happy with the purchase. Four stars as the printer should have been plastic bagged prior to filling the box with the foam peanuts, otherwise 5 stars.

Difficult to install, little help from Dell
I can not even get it installed. When my original Windows 7 computer died, I tried to move the printer to the new Windows 7 Computer.I was told to get the driver from Dell. I was unsuccessful in doing this.I have used Dell for about 6 years now, and I am not liking them very much - and I sure don't like this printer which is basically useless to me. I am paying a pro, who thinks he can get the stupid thing to do what I bought it to do.

Does not work well with Windows Vista
I have had a 968 wireless and a plain 968. They are fair machines as stand-alone multi-function units except they are noisy. The set-up and compatability with MS Windows Vista is a nightmare. Just type "Vista and Dell 968" into Google and see for yourself how problematic they are together. It might be the Dell drivers, software, or the bugs in Vista. It doesn't matter except they don't work together. I have lost countless hours as a result over a period of two years.I have a Dell replacement warranty for three years on my newest 968 which is also useless as the techs cannot fix the problems and always end up telling me to reload Vista which does not fix the many outstanding compatability/connectivity issues. It does work flawlessly with XP in my experience on two other computers.

I really like it.
This printer was a replacement for the same model which I had previously purchased but my cats, who napped on it, broke the feeder tray. I'm happy to have located another printer of the same model. Now I'll simply put it in a room where it won't be used as a cat perch!

Terrible performance, total waste of money, very expensive ink
This printer consistently fails to print the full document, which makes it a big waste of time. Also, the ink cartridges are expensive for the number of pages they (supposedly) print. Cheap upfront, and costly down the road.
