Good 28 Inch 1080p HDTV
We needed a smaller TV to fit in an in-wall console designed for an older tube TV. At first I was reluctant to pull the trigger on this purchase with no reviews available for the product, and was even more doubtful upon reading that it was a 1366x768 display, but I'm happy to report there were no issues connecting to the PC using an HDMI cable and a DVI adapter. Not only did it work well in its native resolution of 1366x768, but I was able to push it to full 1080p with no issues. I'm wondering why the TV was not marketed as a 1080p model as clearly it supports it; there is no scaling occurring as there is another 1080p set connected and I am able to discern the difference when transitioning from one display to another, and when hitting info on the TV it even reports 1080p. The DirectTV box we have is not working properly, so I have yet to test the HDTV with a traditional cable or satellite signal, but I can report that it displays high resolution images with a good amount of detail and strong color depth.

garbage. When used as a gaming display
I don't understand why this T.V is advertised as a monitor. It infuriates me that it took me hooking up my xbox to the T.V via HDMI cable just to jumpstart the HDMI option. Trust me when i say i understand hardware/software, none of that fixed the initial problem to display an image. Even after installing the latest AMD drivers, the "monitor" could not display the picture the first seven goes around until as earlier stated i hooked up my xbox's HDMI. Now, using this exact monitor to write this review, the image display is... Unfortunately, garbage. When used as a gaming display, it's decent, but as an overall "monitor" it's trash. The pixel density is far too few and strains the eye's unless i'm about 5 feet away, as a T.V should. I suppose most of the blame falls upon me for clicking the buy option too quickly in excitement, but even so this T.V should not be advertised as a monitor. The effort just isn't worth the reward.

mumbo jumbo combo
This combo monitor does not work well if you are using it for a monitor only. It also is very difficult to assemble and the directions are unclear. It is a better TV than a monitor. I sent it back and got an ACER monitor from Amazon and I am very pleased with this Acer monitor, I give it a 4 star rating. Also, I must commend Amazon on the return process, it was smooth and professional. Thank you !

IT'S A TV, IT'S A TV, IT'S A TV! (oh, maybe it's a PC monitor too)
Imagine my surprise when I opened the box and the first thing I saw was a remote control! I never owned a PC monitor before that came with a remote. I thought of sending it back but by coincidence I can use a TV in the guest bedroom. Influencing this decision was my laziness in re-packing the whole shootin' match and taking it back to UPS store. So I plugged it in, attached AppleTV to it and it looks OK I guess. I never spend much on TVs so all my 1080s look pretty much the same to me. I didn't try it as a monitor because I don't know how to plug it via HDMI. I tried it and my computer never recognized it. The included instructions were French only so no help there. Too lazy to learn so as a TV it's OK I guess. Lot's of screen per dollar is my sole criteria. Now I have to shop for an actual PC monitor. I'm hoping I find one that says "THIS IS NOT A TV.... " Samsung, are you listening?

Not exactly standing alike
I brought two of the Samsung T28D310NH 28-inch LED TV's purchased two weeks apart of each other. I use both in my home office to slide applications from one screen to another making it very convenient to edit multiple documents with ease. They both work well yet the issue is that the display stands are different model types causing one TV to be slightly taller. It is very apparent when viewed side-by-side. I did not choose to return one for another because I did not want to be without use considering I was on a time crunch to complete a project.I make this statement only to suggest that when multiple "alike" items are purchased make sure they are truly alike... if your interest is for ecstatic reasons.

Love It!
I was thrilled to find this (very similar) monitor to replace a Samsung monitor I purchased a few years ago for my son. The HDMI port, among other things, was fried by lightening that hit our Ethernet cord in our attic last summer! He was using my 24-inch Samsung in the meantime before I found this one. He is very pleased with this monitor and we hope that Samsung continues this line, as we would not hesitate to buy another one.

Not suitable for computer monitor
I have bought it after seeing "Full HDTV monitor combo" and seeing previous 5 star review, which states it can be used as monitor. It might be usable as HDTV, but not as computer monitor.I tried to use it as monitor, but it supports only two resolution 1280x720 and 1920x1080. In 1280x720 mode, most of windows 8.1 modern applications would not even start complaining resolution is too low. In 1920x1080, it was impossible to read anything. It could be problem with this one specific monitor i bought, but i doube it.The product should not be under computer monitor category, or it should explicitly say that it would not work with windows 8/8.1, which only leaves windows 7. (Microsoft removed its support for XP). Why would anyone buy low resolution screen to use with 5 year old OS is beyond me. I am just returning mine.

Terrible Resolution
The max res is like 1300x700, this is terrible for a PC monitor. It may be fine for a small TV.But as a monitor, you can see each pixel, bad color, low res. I sent mine back about 2hrs after I got it because it is nearly unusable as a PC monitor.
