Perfect for 13 inch MacBook
Good sturdy quality. I can see why people these bad reviews since it will only fit a 13 inch laptop if you have a 13 inch laptop this would be perfect.

Sturdy and does the job
Nice and sturdy, not like some of the other tray holders (as I had read in reviews). When I researched the tray holders I saw that some had complaints about them being flimsy, so I was concerned about this one. But I am glad I decided to take a chance, because it is nice and solid on my tripod. The metal tray is thick enough to not flex at all. The connection to the tripod is solid. It is perfect, and at a great price. I am very happy with this purchase.

Feels cheap and wobbly but it works well
I have this holding up a projector on top of an Amazon tripod. It feels cheap and wobbly perched on top but the tripod has been knocked about and the projector stays put on top. I don't know what else I would use in place of this and I'm happy I have it.

EXACTLY what I was looking for! Has 2x different size mounting holes!
So I purchased a projector to use in the living room to watch movies on it with the fam but when I got to setting it all up I realized I needed to put it higher than the table I had access to. I went to Goodwill and picked up a tripod b/c I noticed there was one of those mounting holes in the bottom of the projector, so I was stoked! Got home only to realize it wasn't the same size...argh! Off to the interwebs to find a table type tripod attachment and thought I was never going to find one until I managed to put in the right key words and this bad boy popped up, $20. Okay, I'll give it a shot, looks like it'll work and worst case I can return it.When it came time to install it I pulled it out, noticed there was a screw in the mounting hole so I quickly unscrewed it, went to throw the tripod into it and dangit, it didn't fit!!!! I was SO MAD! I then took a deep breath and took another look at the box. I then noticed it said that it worked for two different mounting holes so I quickly looked for the screw I had just taken out of the bottom of the base. I found it and sure enough when I turned it upside down I noticed there was a hole in the middle. I kept it hole up and screwed it back into the bottom of the base. Now there was a hole the exact size of my tripod screw!!! Put them together and it fit like a glove!!! I am BEYOND HAPPY with this purchase! Does EXACTLY what I bought it for, it's the perfect little platform on the top of the tripod. Even has a strap that you can put the projector under to secure it in case someone hits the tripod.

Basically works fine.
Its metal which is sturdy, but with some tripods will be a bit heavy. Strong plastic would have worked just a well. Also, I felt that the retainer elastic to hold the computer in place was okay, but another design might have been a very good improvement.

Nervous usage,
Covid19 purchase to use on outdoor neighborhood movie nights.Nice platform with elastic band. Minimal, but enough padding for projector to not scrape housing, and provide anti-vibration use. Lightweight. The first few mounting attempts had aluminum shavings coming off their included adapter. With the amount of adjustability I have with my tripod. I was never able to achieve what felt like a fully secured and tightened 'feeling' of the platform. The shaft on my tripod is steel. I was concerned with stripping the platform threads. It didn't take much to loosen it either. =/Again, my application on a multi angle tripod. Also adding to my nervous usage is due to the camera tripod that I've owned for decades. Whether 'short' or extended, the legs do not provide enough stability for having a heavy, and expensive projector exposed to being knocked over by Minions. If I used a more generic tripod with a wider foot base when all the way down. I would have more confidence in it not tipping over.

Perfect for Projector!
I already had a good quality tripod for my cameras, so I just needed the tray for our projector, not another tripod that includes the tray. The tray came with the 3/8" to 1/4" thread adapter needed to mount the tray onto my tripod. Once you thread the adapter into the tray mount (using a regular screwdriver) it stays installed permanently. All metal construction makes the tray solid enough to easily handle our projector, an elastic strap is provided to keep your projector from moving once it's situated onto the tray.A very simple product, but it fulfills it's purpose 100% effectively!

Works well
This tray works properly. Even without the elastic band, it can be angled forward quite a bit without my laptop falling out. The only slight demerit, is that the elastic strap is a tight fit, and pretty thin.

Gute Qualität für fairen Preis
Montage war leicht. Qualität ist gut. Lediglich das Kugelhalter rastet nicht in der Einkerbungen ein.

Tray for my extra astro gear.
This is just what I was missing in my garden astro adventure.I use this next to my rig to hold my amazon tablet and other bits of astro gear. No real complaints with this actually. It has a ridge to stop stuff falling off and is covered in foam to damped the sound if you drop something on it.I was a bit skeptical about the mounting point but it seems sturdy enough for the weight of my additional gear. Worth the buy imo.
