Easy to set up and works great
Very easy to set up and it works great. Bought this to replace an old one. Would defiantly recommend.

Love it. Working great for months, just the way we want it!
Finally decided to move on from solar lights due to unreliability. I cobbled together the parts needed to install our permanent system and chose this unit. Easy to install and configure. Once set up it turns lights on at dusk and off again a few hours later. Love that it turns them off based on when they came on, that's a nice feature.

Has all the functions except one.
This is a transformer-based AC output power supply. It works as expected and includes off, on, on with a light sensor - timed off, on and off with times. It does not have on and off with a light sensor. So it cannot be set for dawn to dusk. Also, since it does not have a built-in time zone function, it cannot track a timed sunset and sunrise control. However with a sensor that function is probably not needed. The unit is well packed and arrived without damage even though it is heavy due to the transformer. Housing is molded plastic. It claims to be weather resistant with all connections entering and exiting through the bottom. The photo sensor connects with s twist on pinned connector. I found it a bit short for my application and had to relocate it closer to the outside wall to make it fit. Extension cables may be available.Output voltage is stable and the tread lights I am using it for do not blink as some LED powered lamps will when the voltage fluctuates.Overall I think it is a great unit and is recommended. - Be sure to determine the wattage you need before purchase as several power levels are available.

Read this if CUSTOMER SERVICE is important to you!
At the root of just about every electronic purchase on line is the question of "if I have a problem, I wonder how well customer sevice will address my issue." Let me tell you this: I have now been absolutely blown away by the Goodsman customer service team. My first phone call to them made me feel like I was their most important customer and their goal was my satisfaction with their products.I purchased 2 120 watt power packs to address my landscaping lighting needs. I promptly received them and hooked up my lights. Instalation was a snap, directions and programming as easy. Great product! But, not long afterwards the photo sensor / timer stopped working on one unit. A quick call to Amazon and a replacement unit was here the next day. Not bad, no fuss, no issues and as I hoped it would be from Amazon customer service.Well, 8 months later the replacement Goodsman sent me stopped working. I dreaded calling their customer service number figuring I would have an issue getting satisfaction from them since this was a second replacement request.I was amazed at how well my call was received! Goodsman did the purchase verification and called me back the THE NEXT DAY! He arranged for return shipping and explained they would do diagnostics on the unit and let me know. Fair enough and understandable. In the same conversation I informed the Goodsman Customer rep of a slight issue on the other unit's door hinge. The first words out of the rep were "that's not what we want for our customers, send it back to us as well." What? Are you kidding? Not what I was asking Goodsman to do... but, ok! The rep told me it would be a few days once they received the units to evaluate and he would give me a call. Ok, I admit I was feeling pretty good at this point about how Goodsman's rep was treating me; but call me back in a few days? Come on who does that anymore? Real customer service is hard to find. You could have blown me over with a feather when Goodsman's rep called me this morning! I return mailed the units on a Tuesday and received Goodsman's call on the following Wednesday with a holiday Monday in between. Stunning customer service!I was informed BOTH units would replaced and would be in the mail today! The Goodsman rep made it very clear my satisfaction was his goal and part of their company culture. For me customer service is a big piece in my decision making process when I read reviews. Goodsman nailed it! I Highly recommend them because they stand behind their product and know how to deliver excellent customer service. The only thing I can say now is I wish I had bought my landscaping lights from them as well!

No issues for two months
I've been using this every day, indoors for about 2 months now. Haven't had a single issue with it. I can't comment on the light sensor since being inside I rely on the timer function that works very well. It even keeps time through power outages. It just feels like a solid build and the switch and buttons feel robust.I'm using this for ~300 feet of 14 gauge wire running 56 watts of lights. Only 80% of the total power of any transformer should be used, so at 96 watts that gives me plenty of room for resistance draw caused by the length of the wire. One thing I wish is that it had clamp style connectors as opposed to screws. Holding the unit while trying to screw in a wire to the terminals is difficult without having something to rest it on. Attaching multiple wires is next to impossible unless you have some loop terminals.
