Is that a genuine Merino wool?
I really doubt that is a genuine Merino wool it feels more like the soft part of velcro patch I'm afraid. It smells a little. There is nothing that makes it nice and soft.

Cozy and warm- a bit small for a King size bed
This is an incredible blanket! It's much thicker than I thought it would be, but cozy for cold nights. It's incredibly nice, even if it's a bit too small for a King size bed. Ships all the way from Poland.It's a really great investment, especially if you live in a place that gets very cold at night.You only go around once on this mortal coil. You may as well spring for a really nice warm wool blanket. More warmth and lighter than a big quilt or a comforter.
