KHOMO iPad Mini 1 2 3 Case - Dual Series - Ultra Slim White Cover with Auto Sleep Wake Feature for Apple iPad Mini 1st, 2nd and 3rd Generation

I was the very lucky winner of an iPad mini 2 as a result of a quiz that I took at my job that entered me into a drawing, in which my name was drawn. I decided on this case for it based on having 10,700+ reviews and averaging 4.6 out of 5 stars. It came today and I can definitely see why the reviews are so high. For like 20 bucks including tax and shipping, this is an excellent case. The materials are very nice and premium feeling. The ipad fits perfectly and snugly in the case. The sleep/wake feature works wonderfully and there are also a lot more color options than there are with the Apple cases. I like this case better than the Apple smart case that I had on my iPad 2 (which I also won, and gave to my mom after winning the iPad mini), which I paid like 50 bucks for. Even the smart cases for the iPad mini are like 10 bucks more than this one, and I think this one is a better case. If you are looking for a case for your iPad mini, this is the case for you.*UPDATE*Unfortunately, after only a couple months of use, this case has cracked in two places at the bottom, where the speaker and charging port openings are, and cracked in two places up by the headphone jack. In fact, the whole corner by the headphone jack opening is about to come off. This is very disappointing for me, because I love the way this case looks and feels in the hand. I have not been rough on it whatsoever. The most I have done is to take the iPad out of the case a couple times to clean dust and stuff off. Since this has happend, I am taking two stars off of my review. I have ordered a Jetech case. Hopefully it won't break so easily.

Just got the new iPad Mini with Retina Display and looking for a protective cover. I researched multiple options by reading reviews on Amazon.com and on the Apple website. I wanted something light that covered the back and front, and that functioned like the Apple cover. This product has list price of $49 on Amazon but I was able to purchase it from them for $15. The Apple case was nearly $70, so I took a chance on this one. The fit is perfect with all ports and buttons available. The iPad just snaps into the plastic liner. The magnetic cover has four folds (I think the Apple one has only 3) and when folded properly, the iPad will stand for video viewing or fold almost flat for typing When the cover is closed, the iPad goes into sleep mode, and awakens on opening.. It is attractive, has a nice feel, and I am totally happy with it. In the short time I have had it, I obviously cannot speak to durability, but it feels quality made. I have not dropped my iPad (and do not plan to do so----LOL), but I believe it will provide damage protection from many of the minor day to day mishaps. At this price, I may buy another in a different color just for variety. I highly recommend this product.Update 6/11/2014: I've now had this cover for six months and it has held up well with no signs of wear and tear (other than a little dirt on the outside cover). It has functioned flawlessly.

This is a review for people that spend a good amount of time researching before spending any of their hard earned money. I previously purchased the Apple branded flip cover and was disappointed when after a few months of typical use the cover began to separate from the magnetic part. I went online and found A comparatively cheaper screen (see above) and was pleasantly surprised when I received this cover. It feels a little sturdier, but not too much to add unnecessary bulk. The flip cover itself is well made and shows no signs of becoming worn out. The Apple branded cover began to immediately show wear and tear.All in all I feel much better spending the money on this less expensive cover then I certainly did when I spent the money on Apple's branded cover. If you're questioning whether to spend money to protect your iPad Mini but you don't want to break the bank, I highly recommend this cover as it has served its purpose is incredibly well, much better than Apple, and has cost me less than half of what I paid for the other cover.

What a bargain! I bought the Apple Smart Cover and was not comfortable with the fact that it had no back protection, so I returned it and bought the Khomo cover. It is lightweight, and works just as well as the more expensive Apple cover I have for my regular-sized iPad. The sleep mechanism works well- I have not had any problems with it. It doesn't stand very well horizontally and doesn't stand at all vertically, but neither does the Apple cover. Considering how cheap it is, I am willing to buy another one in a few months if I have to! This worked so well that I bought another one for an iPad mini with Retina. This cover works with both the older iPad mini as well as the newer iPad mini with Retina display. I bought a white and a purple, and both work well. Very happy with the purchases.

I got this in white. It has a glossy hard plastic shell that is easy to wipe clean, the cover is matte white. Since I got it I have gotten some smudges and a couple tiny drops of teriyaki sauce on it cooking, I was surprised at how easy it was to wipe clean with a damp cloth, it wiped completely clean and didn't stain the cover at all. I was worried about keeping it looking clean since the case is white, but no worries now it is still brand new looking! The case fits perfectly around my iPad mini 2, the magnetic closure works perfectly, secure fit, adding only a little bulk...it looks flawless and yes, there is a mic cut out on the back. adds more weight bc the back is a hard shell plastic but totally worth it for the protection. Highly recommended and a steal for the high quality of case!

It's an odd thing really. the iPad is a beautiful thing. It looks and feels quality, so of course as soon as you get it you want to cover it up! Seriously though, you want to keep this bit of tech protected but retain the quality look and feel. For me, this case delivers. I recently upgraded from a mini 2 to a mini 4. The external dimensions being different meant that i needed a new case. I had previously bought a KHOMO case for my mini 2. This had given such good protection that my iPad was immaculate thus enabling me to get a very good price for it as a used item. For me, the case has paid for itself so naturally, i searched for another KHOMO case for my new tablet. The fit is perfect giving good all round protection while keeping access to controls and ports. the folding front cover works to provide a stable base with a choice of viewing angles. This means that it won't need to be precariously propped up somewhere where it risks falling and getting damaged, so this also adds to the protection factor. A good choice of colours available so something to suit all tastes. The one on sale in the Apple store is £65.00. I'd rather spend the difference on a better spec tablet than an overpriced case. This does the job and some.

This is an absolutely stunning case for the iPad mini. It is almost identical to the apple branded case but at a fraction of the cost. It holds the iPad mini v1 securely with full access to all the buttons and ports. The back of the case feels like neoprene which is great because it doesn't slid out of your hands. The front cover has a premium feel, very tactile also. All in all this is excellent value for the price, highly recommended.

Stylish cover for my iPad mini. Good quality and reasonable price. Retains slim look whilst giving needed protection. The very reasonable price compared with genuine item does not mean its quality is compromised too much. Clearly the genuine covers are better but not that much better to justify the price.Buy these covers with confidence and know they are affordable to replace.The sleep mode works fine with these covers.

This case lasted 4 years of heavy use, which was very impressive. Good piece of kit. The magnetic close works well, and it protects the iPad very well.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this case. It's so compact and thin... it doesn't make my iPad bulky at all. It protects it's every corner. It looks a great quality and it also feels like it. It stands although mine doesn't use the magnet to do so, it's more of a trick of placing the cover in the perfect position so the little triangle will hold it. But don't worry, it's very straight forward. I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT 100%
