Shorty Stainless Performance Headers For Dodge Ram 1500 2009-2015 5.7L HEMI

Installed these when I replaced the motor in my truck. Noticed a lot more pep and better gas mileage. Did not want to go through the hassle of doing long tube. These are good enough for me

I was ready to send them back wrote TUNERbits and said that they didn’t fit they wrote back and said (I’am so sorry to hear about the issue! Do you think they can be modified to fit?)they must think I got a header shop or something.Well, I finally got them installed after 10 1/2 hrs were they easy to install no, I had to squeeze them together because they hit the frame as the mechanic said had to use a press lucky there was a shop near me that had one, also had to cut some slots into the holes where the manifold bolts go so I could get the bolts in and had to use a new set of caskets would I recommend them no not really, a lot of hard work and the bolts are hard to get too, had to take the starter off/stirring arm. You have to topple check all the stuff you get right away so It doesn’t cost you money to send it back I waited too long It would have cost me a lot of money to send them back so I had to make them fit on my dodge ram 1500 2014 quad cab. I drove it around for a while and the engine light came on so now I have to fix that. How to they sound about the same as before the only thing I have to do now is to see if the fuel mileage is better. Am I happy with them IDK I have wait and see?

I hadto cut one of the mounting holes to get to fit. The 2nd to the back bolt hole has one of the pipes in the way, so a bolt can not be added after it is mounted. I had to cut out the hole to pre-mount the bolt in the head, then tighten with a box end wrench. Not a huge deal, but just a PIA to find the design flaw at the last minute. Also, stock dipstick tube will not fit, have to go with flexible aftermarket tube, which added an extra 100+ to the build. My suggestion would buy the brand name, these are less in the beginning, but cost more than the others to make work correctly.

Th drivers side went on easily i did have to cut one of the bolt holes because there is no way to get the bolt in huge design flaw there, you do have to remove the starter as with most shorty headers on the 5.7. The passenger side was the absolute worst! I was able to get the passenger side on after heavy modifications. I would not recommend this product. Amazon needs to remove this product,.the welds were horrible, not polished as they shouldhave been, and poorly comstructed. Save your time and money. Buy higher quality headers!

I’d give a zero star but won’t let me these headers look cool and seemed promising for what I paid for them. For a direct replacement for stock manifolds they fit with out modifications but very challenging to install and get all bolts tight enough not to fall out. I finally got the flames sealed after days of messing around, then about a week later I got another leak that turned out to be a very thin spot in one of the tubes that blew out there is a large hole/crack in the header tube I would not recommend these to anyone looking to do headers do yourself a favor and buy a better quality header or stick to stock I ended up going back to stock and won’t make this mistake again hope this helps anyone with questions

They say if it seams to good to be true Believe it. I bought a set of the shorty headers went to have them installed they would NOT match up to the exhaust pipes I had to spend 3 extra hours of labor money to get the issue fixed.No Help for the manufacture of the headers it took 3 day for a e-mail reply with no help and None offered,I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM NOR WOULD I BUY AGAIN

Bold holes on the passenger side did not line up 3 of there where off had to drill them out can’t wait to hear this leak

The media could not be loaded. Took apart truck and does not fit now I can’t drive bought because manifold broke got it all out and man was I mad do not believe the Amazon or seller
